Evening All,

Following a hastily arranged brief encounter with the lovely Evoni, we found a bit of affirmation to our supposition that the Slot Fanatics forum seemed a lot quieter these days. Not having had the chance yet to look about, I hope the new forum builds on the success of the last one and the decanting was more amicable than last time!

First things first though, about us...

Generally, we're passive slot fans for 40-46 weeks of the year and proper low-rolling but dedicated slot junkies for at least 6 weeks of the year, depending on where our various travels take us. I (Billy) run a few companies and she (Moyra) is a Biology and Chemistry teacher in Scotland. We have carefully built a schedule that takes us primarily to Vegas for July and much of August every year and we try to cram in as much slots as possible in our time in the States. Last year, this was easy because we were in Northern Nevada and we also managed a few shots in Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, Nice, Antibes, Cagnes sur Mer and Cannes.

More specifically, we're a few days into this summer's venture. Having taken the life changing decision to move to the States permanently (if you'll have us which is more doubtful by the day...) we're combining our Vegas run with a househunting tour of Arizona and chucking in a few days of hiking and looking at red rocks in AZ and UT along the way before heading back for a good bit of R&R for 3 weeks in Vegas. We have taken inspiration from a lot of the people on this forum and beyond and have started the photos and videos piece. It's a bit pathetic in terms of amounts betted, won and lost but it's great for family and friends to tag along with us whilst we're away and proved fun for us to look back on as well.

Hope everyone is grand, dandy, winning and well. I will kick off a new trip report piece presently and transplant the current trip report from a Slot Fanatics to a new home here presently.

Cheers,

Billy
