    Building points at Bellagio

Arriving in Vegas tomorrow, woot! I'm pearl trying to get gold this trip. I used a Bellagio offer to stay there, however, I haven't payed attention in the past to what machines accrue faster than others. Any suggestions? I anticipate my bankroll to go to 25% pennies and 75% nickels to $10 machines. Is it best to use my card soley at Bellagio and not other mlife properties?

Use your card at ALL Mlife properties. It doesn't matter which Mlife property you gamble at, it all adds up to your quest to hit Gold.

I recently went to Bellagio and got pretty good play off pennies, but I didn't track what machines were giving 1 point per $3 played versus specialty machines that only give 1 point per $10 played. If you can located some good playing non-specialty machines, that's your best bet for racking up points to hit Gold.

Hopefully, someone else can point you in the direction of what Mlife machines are non-specialty.

I think Bellagio has the WMS reels with the super progressives. They are not a specialty and are a great way to cycle through points.. Here is a phot of the one I have played at Aria (now gone with the slot floor change )

If you want future offers from Bellagio over other properties it's best to do the majority of your play there and limit your play to no more then 20 percent at the other M-Life casinos, unless you would prefer to possibly get offers from them over Bellagio in the future. It's also possible if you are able to recycle enough in the slots that playing at other M-Life properties and also at Bellagio will get your future offers from all of them. But if you aren't getting a lot of play stick with the property you want future offers from.

All slots with progressives should be speciality slots, the newer theme slots that they are paying royalties to TV, Movie, Music, are specialty slots. Some slots will be marked as speciality slots but plenty of others that are speciality slots won't be marked so it's hard to go by the signs on the slots. Sometimes with M-Life properties as I've mentioned and Dina confirmed in her trip report they will have a slot like Buffalo Deluxe as a speciality slot at one casino but not at another. That slot really shouldn't be a speciality slot but when Dina asked about the discrepancy she was told the one that had it as a speciality slot was leasing it and likely the other M-Life hotel had bought the slot. Personally I don't buy that, it's just the craziness of M-Life. So how do you tell for sure? Just play your slot of choice for several spins and watch to see the rate you are earning points. For the really old slots that aren't progressives, normally those slots are not speciality.

    Hope that helps a little.

Had those in the back of my mind. Last time I was there, guy seemed to be getting a handpay every few minutes on a 9-liner. Thanks for the luck, hoping we have many to post.
