I would have to agree with everyone and say go. What fun you could have to be solo and get to do what you want. If you are worried about the BR, go and have some low-rolling fun. It may be a while before you get to have some fun with the new job starting. And what if something were to happen that a weekend trip with your BF in March did not happen? Major withdrawals you would have to deal with. At least book the room and then play it by ear. I am not from the area, but I wonder how well they do at getting the GSP cleared. With it being a highly traveled road I would think that it is a priority. And one last thought is how long you are planning on staying? Is this a one night trip, or are you or can you stay until Saturday if need be?

But mainly I am like goldengreeke. I would love a live TR to follow!

    Well now, should I ...

Go scratch that itch. Weekdays are a great time to play. No waiting for the most popular games. Do it, girl!

    Pros:
-- Because the last few trips have been with friends or the BF, I haven't gotten in substantial amounts of slotting and I miss it! I also likely won't have a trip soon where I will.
-- It's my time off and I want to go
-- Maybe b/c it's a weekday, it'll be less busy at Borgata and I'll get to play some of the slots I didn't get to play over NYE.
-- Also, I may try and stay at GN for the night for a cheap rate. Give them some play so that maybe I can get some room offers, a free weekend summer night, and see how I like it over there.

    Cons:
-- possibly bad weather starting early Friday so it'll make my trek home icky.
-- whenever I go down on these last-minute planned trips, I don't think I've done well. I could limit it this time by honestly low-rolling since I'll be gambling for many more hours than my last couple trips.
-- will likely go on a trip with the BF in March and I should just save my BR for that trip and not waste it here (see above).

Can you talk me in or out of it? Thanks!
Well, Dina, I really want to go on Friday! Reserved for the Temptations bake ware giveaway and was looking forward to two nice days of just doing what I want to do. However, the impending snow storm for Friday may ruin my plans. If the weather is going to be that bad, you may not want to go. I am monitoring the weather reports to see if anything is changing.

Ha, he was much better our NYE trip but he really doesn't understand wanting to play for more than a couple hours at a time ... which I like to do.

    Thanks, Rob!

Looks like the snow won't be here before Friday night so i'm heading down and will monitor it. Want to pick up a gift at Borgata at 2 on Friday but if I have to leave earlier, I will.

(Although, I will confess, I'm about to jump into a couple of weeks of traveling and went to the local this past weekend for some R&R before the storm and got slaughtered).
See, that's what I was worried about. But I'm not going to bring down a big BR so any damage will be contained. The secondment is going to be intense so yes, I agree that I need a break

Yes, I can't wait to hopefully play things that have been packed at all hours of the day on my past trips Also, staying at GN will help -- they have a new slot area and it was empty last time I was there so I should be able to try Buffalo Gold, Gold Pays, Wonder 4 jackpots there if Borgata is still packed.

I should get out of AC before it gets bad -- but thanks for the warning and i'll make sure to leave before it starts.

And it looks like its a $777 slot dollar every 7 minutes promotion tomorrow at Borgata so maybe I'll have more of a chance to win

Haha, and this one should be much more frequent posts than my last couple!

It'd be a one night trip -- I could extend if necessary but that's just getting more in the middle of the storm. The BF knows that there'd be one more trip before May (so I can renew my black card) so I'm confident there will be a trip in Feb/March/April but I'm going to treat myself first

It looks like it won't start until Friday night or Saturday morning, even down there, so I should be fine. But I'll leave before the bakeware giveaway too if I have to, so I can get back to NYC safely. Maybe I'll see you there Margie!

Nothing like going to a casino solo to make the BF squirm a little lol. It will good for both of you.

Good luck on behalf of those who won't be going this weekend. Looking forward to some big wins.
