    Spirit Airlines Fares to LV

Just got an email from Spirit Airlines, with $40 fares each way ($25 each way if you're a $9 fare club)to Vegas from Atlanta, Baltimore/DC area, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Houston, KC, Minneapolis, NOLA, Oakland, Philly, San Diego, and Seattle. A few dates available in each month Feb-May.

    They're calling it the

    Promo.

Not bad, if you can make it work.

(They also have same price fares to lots of cities)

Good info Michelle but it wouldn't work for me because it costs over $30 a day to park at the Chicago Airports which would add $200 to the ticket price.

I am better off flying out of Rockford or Peoria where I can park for free and fly ghetto Allegiant.

I know somewhere you can park for free in Chicago, but you'd have to Uber it to the airport or to the Blue Line.

And I think maybe Spirit is ghetto-er!

Ever use airport reservations.com or similar? It links you to off-airport lots, including hotel lots, all with airport shuttles. I checked your area, quite a few are under $8 a day.

How do I find this deal. I looked at Spirit's site, and I am not seeing it.

Suze, I get the emails from them (although I don't read them) and just checked and this one expired on 2/12. There was a different one that expired at midnight last night. I will watch for another and post it here if I catch it in time. They are usually very short lived!

I got an email from Spirit today. Here's the content. Hope someone can use it! (I am going to move this thread to the Runway section of the forum to keep all the Airline information together, ok?)

Here's the latest Spirit email offer. I just want to mention that I have never flown Spirit, and I know they have a VERY Dicey reputation, but some folks have good luck with them. Be sure to do your homework if you decide to use them because they have more fees than most of the airlines so the cost can surprise you. They also have an older fleet and less aircraft so in the event of mechanical or weather issues, options can be limited.

    (Thank Gaia It's Fuel-efficient)

Not only can we thank Gaia, the Goddess of Nature, for creating our earth, we can also thank her for this deal. Since we are the most fuel-efficient airline, we're clearly her favorite. To prove it, she forged this deal for you, and it happens to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. So please take a moment today to thank her (or a representation of her – a tree, a blade of grass, a cloud) for wanting you to save and see more of the beautiful world she made. And don't print this email.
