Hard Rock Biloxi pitiful comps and tighter slots

Every since they did renovations and got new owners Hard Rock Biloxi is worse than the Beau for slots. And they are getting sloppy with housekeeping to the point of bloodstains on the linens, hair in the shower, and the smell of pet urine since they allow pets on every floor now. I put all my money into the Hard Rock but want to switch before it becomes any worse. Any suggestions?

I meant the Platinum Tower. Good that you had good luck but this is basically the only place I play every other month so I notice the changes. And with the new pet rules that let pets on any floor the rooms are hidden traps of urine that the maids don't find obviously. Grosses my wife out when we found fecal matter in a corner of the room that the maid must have missed. Didn't think it was a guest so had to be his pet. Either way, gross. But we don't spend that much time in the room. It just irks us that they have let the place go like this. Pets used to be only on the 3rd floor. With the new comfort pets and service animal laws it will just get worse. And the slots which my wife plays won't last her bankroll the whole day anymore like they used to. And they have reduced their video poker paytables to the odds of slots basically. All in all not a fun place like it used to be.

Casino renovations seem to go hand in hand with tighter slots.

When the Platinum Tower first opened everybody wanted that instead of the old Royal Tower. Everything was pristine and they seemed to have two maids for each floor. Now they have cut back and it is more like 1 maid for two floors. They got new owners and they must be penny pinchers. Comps down, promotions lousy, tight slots, poor housekeeping, and various other ways they cut corners won't keep their loyal customers of which my wife and I were two of the most loyal. The new Scarlet Pearl cut into their business and you would think they would loosen up instead of tighten up. Even the Beau loosened their slots to compete. What goes around comes around.

When have you noticed all these changes since after March? I am surprised by how they send me tons of mailers for only having played there 1 time.

I have followed your posts for a long time and know you are a high roller. My wife and I are medium rollers and I think our loyalty is taken for granted since we play the same but comps and freeplay go down. Maybe if we stay away for a year things will change. But repeating if I ran a casino I would love to have a thousand players like you. But casinos should also realize steady wins the race and if they get many thousands like my wife and I that remain loyal to their property they should treat us with respect and quit playing games. If I play the same and get a certain amount of freeplay I don't expect that to go down just because I come often.

Oh I definitely know how that goes. Local casinos like to take advantage of locals that they think have em in their grips and will come anyways sorta a crappy part about locals the best thing is atleast they have competition to try to keep em on level playing field

I didn't realize the Hard Rock had been sold, went back and checked and it was purchased by Twin Rivers Management out of Rhode Island. It's been years since I have visited there but am planning to check it out in January, I'll be curious to see how the machines play. If they seem too tight it will be back to the Beau.
