Bill and I got the new Illinois ones last year. As yet haven't had any problems but also haven't had any HP's either.

I think the govt clamp down in the last few years on money being laundered thru casinos and underage folks has them spooked. Common sense is leaving the building. Maybe uncle Donald can stop the coming insanity, him being a casino guy. Like raise the $1200 threshold to $5K, some benefits to casinos if they did that.

Is this the one you have?

Had trouble with license in Laughlin at one casino. They wouldn't give it back for some reason. Next thing I know I'm surrounded by security and management arguing they have to give back or otherwise they were committing ID theft. They had no standing to keep it so after about 20 minutes of me getting more and more vocal about it they gave it back. And then welcomed me to gamble - that wasn't going to happen.

    Glad you got your promo.
Yes. It's the most secure ID washington has.

Did you see that it's at least being discussed about raising to 5k

kdk, it would be a great win for the gamblers, but I am afraid that the IRS, government, and anyone else involved would be against losing out on every dollar they can get their greedy hands on. I hope I am wrong on this like I am on everything else.

I didn't know it was suggested yet by someone in charge. I have little confidence that our Federal govt will actually do something that would benefit everyone.

I had a similar, although lesser problem at Wynn. I needed a replacement players card and my free play, but their system didn't recognize my NH license, (the enhanced version that I got in March), which will supposedly be required by TSA within the next couple of years. After a little running around & a coupe of phone calls they were able to take care of me. These casinos need to get with the program!

I'm sorry for all the trouble you had Tab. That's just crazy.

I thought Minnesota was one of the last holdouts for the enhanced ID but I guess not. I think I'll just skip it and use the regular ID and my passport.

At Mystic Lakes they just installed a kiosk where you can get a new players card by just inserting your driver's license and putting in you pin number. I wonder if they programmed that for the enhanced IDs?

Probably ok. Grazie has always been way behind the curve on tech issues.
