Thread: Free play suggestions

  1. #21
When I go with Michelle we have been using it on dollars and hope to win something, like 3 line pinball or a5 line....i like total meltdown or high voltage for that random respin. When I go with my friend, if he's playing on my card we take the freeplay and each add equal money in with it then play bigger like nickels or max bet on pennies and then split any wins...adding the money makes it last longer and let's us play "big" longer

Don't kid yourself Don. VP is definitely a higher payback and strategy is relatively easy to learn, but you and I both know it will bore you silly. And I am right there in that same boat with you. We must be entertained at all times! Not to mention that all logic goes out the door after a few cocks

Sort of like reels. The payback is typically better, but after a few moments I am bored out of my mind.

There's some multi game Cleo at PH so you can play 4 screens at once. Probably $8 max bet

Planet Hollywood has three of the NEW Bier Haus (Beer Tap buy-a-bonus) game which several of us had a long term play recently. If you want to make your free play last or cash out the wins from the free-play draw-down, this game's low volatility is great- and the catchy bonus round theme song is addicting.

I saw it in AC last weekend, but never tried it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm sorry I'm such a bad influence on you. Talks of running off to Cherokee and high limit slots. We will have to call that 800# together

Good luck my friend - I have no suggestions. I'm already a bad enough example for you.

I agree, try the freeplay in something you wouldn't normally play. I have saved some of my trips because of this- my only big win comes out of it.

After being at PH for a week in May I can pretty much remember every machine still I think. I tried a $5 double diamond machine in the HL room. It actually let me play forever on $100 going up and down and I eventually cashed out at my $100. It wasn't the deluxe with the arrows, just the regular one against the back wall. There's at least one of the deluxe ones in dollars outside of HL that you can change up to $2 or $5. I also tried a 2x3x4x5 $5 reel in the HL room and it did good too, ended up a little bit ahead. I would try at least $100 of it in one of those games. I find that even as bad as the slot paybacks are on the Vegas strip the $5 reels are set pretty good. I always say I'm going to just play those but never stick to it.

I have also done pretty well on the Cleo II games there. I think they only have two left now, up in the front, that you can change the denominations on. I seem to do the best on nickles on those, even better than if I played them at the 10 cent level.

The buffalo stampedes do seem to play well for me there, like others have said. I usually see a handpay or two on them every time. If you are going to bet big on a penny slot these might be the ones to try.

If you try VP, they don't have much in the way of good games anymore there. There's still a bank of 7/5 Bonus Poker if you are willing to play dollars ($5 per hand). The rest of the casino downgraded to 6/5 or less. These will at least let you play for a bit and if you hit a 4OAK you'll be good. I also still love to play the Dream Card poker games there, my first and only dealt royal came from one of those last year.
