You kinda lost me, and therein probably lies the problem. It was 2 nights comped and about $40 in Express Comps plus points plus FSP that they gave. I'm okay with that (that's actually a good visit for me). What I'm struggling with is moving up in tiers. For me, it seems quite impossible; however, if I'm understanding him, Penguin is saying that moving up in status level can be had at CET properties for only about $5000 coin-in in a year's time and that this appears to be equivalent to what it takes to move up in MLife.

CET platinum takes 5000 tc. That's 25000 coin in per year. But they have bonuses like quest for rewards, or earning 500 tc in a day gets an additional 125 tc + other reward bonuses. So you don't need to do 25000 coin in.

    Mlife pearl is 25000 tc.
Mlife is harder to figure. Most machines are $3 per pt. But not all. I've never fully figures it out.

Getting 2 nights plus fsp is good for $2000 coin in per day.
You probably aren't gonna get much more from casino though. They , on average , will make $300 per day from your play.
A portion of that $300 Is what they'll give back to you in comps.

Mlife isn't doing specialty slots in AC.

My understanding is $1 coin-in for 1 tier credit. So you don't accrue as fast as vegas where on non-specialty slots it's $3 coin-in per point. Each point equals 10 tier credits. So $3 coin-in is 10 tier credits on non-specialty.

I haven't played yet at borgata since the change without a promo day for slot dollars. $1 express comp for $100 coin-in is probably about right. That is a better accrual than in Vegas.

I think the slot dollars accrue slower under the new program.

I wish when I coin in $4000 they always only make $600 from me! That is an average if the slot(s) are paying, no? I've lost $1000 cash at times and only earned $30 comp, all depends on the day.

If I wanted a time out, I would go back to kindergarten.

Well a slot that has a 15% hold, on average, will hold $600 after $4000 is played through. Time played is also a factor in comps. Variance may mean you lose $4000 , lose $600 or win $10000.

@DK528, I haven't tried to figure out how the tier credits accrue yet, I just know that I have earned about 33,000 tier since June. I feel we are still earning $1 comp/express comp dollar for every $100 coined in and it seems like at Gold I am getting 40% of my comp earned in slot dollars where we previously got half back.

I am curious to see how much I will earn in Biloxi in 2 weeks.

I am not 100% sure of the program at the Borgata either. If it is 1 tier per $100 coin in, it must be the case because when I checked our MLife account before starting to play on Tuesday, and then again yesterday morning, we had accrued a little over 11k tiers, and a little over $21k coin in. That would appear to be 1,100 or so points, then that times 10 would equal 11k tiers. Plus with Platinum getting the 30% bonus is how we earned the $144 in express comps.

In Vegas on regular slots, and not the specialties, $11k coin in would get you around 37k tier credits. But the express comps would only be around $50. That is if my math is correct. I just woke up, so my brain is not at 100% yet.
