Hi chrissyDee -- I had heart failure since I was 31 -- and a lot of people new -- although my mouth and energy used to get me through. twelve hours of badminton a week and 1 to 5 years lasted 18 before I became sick enough for a week of testing tp make sure you have the support! I am really lucky to have all of you folks! You have been too kind!

Hi Penguin:
I started answering the question -- then -- forgot to send -- but, lot of people will like the information. Please don't hesitate to email me anytime in the future - I'll try not to be so forgetful.
So, here was your email:
Penguin: Regarding multi-denomination slots: The % hold change when going from the lower denomination to a higher denomination? Example 1 cent going to 10 cent per credit.
The Shamus: Traditionally, multi-denomination machines can be set to have payback for each bet level. Does the casino take advantage of this. Traditionally no.
Penguin: I asked this once of slot supervisor at JACK in Cleveland. His answer was he didn't think so. Said in Vegas if the % hold changed then you need a separate asset number attached to the slot for each denomination.
The Shamus: This guy sounds right on -- and I think he makes a very good point. Reporting for different payback percentage would be a nightmare.
Penguin: My thought was that maybe those machines paid at the higher denomination for all denominations. Slot supervisor at Joliet commented to me the other day that multi-denomination machines did pay out better than the penny machines.
The Shamus: The fact is -- we don't really know -- and the information on the PAYBACK % should be available. I will have a future article on this. It is possible that multi-denominations pay better … but I can not make a statement about all casinos. At Joliet, if the said the payback is better -- I tend to believe them.
This stuff is all getting cloudy, because Aristocrat is releasing game that require 6 symbol for the BONUS but trigger on 5 symbols if you play at least 5 cents. So, does this suggest the payback % is variable built in?
Are multi-denomination machine hooked up to server based gaming. The whole thing still seems like a blur!

PS - If you switch between the bet level, -- if the symbols do not change on the reels … my understanding, the payback % is not different.
