MGM Rewards Tier Status Accelerator

Did anyone else receive this? MGM Rewards is going to a program similar to Caasars Rewards where you get an accelerator when you earn certain tiers each day. It appears the current 2x bonus has been replaced. I see some benefits, but I guess it will take a trip to see exactly how it is going to be.
