The Wild Rose Casino opened quietly today. It was scheduled to open August 1st. It is about an hour from home. It is owned by the same guy that owns Wild Rose in Emmettsburg,Iowa and Wild Rose in Clinton,Iowa (somewhat close to Golden Greek). We'll probably go check it out in the next week or so.

"The 18,000 square foot casino is located along Highway 30. The casino has 536 slot machines and 14 table games. It also brings 250 new jobs to the area".
"The casino will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight now through July 30 before the regular hours of 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. during the weekend and open 24 hours a day on weekends kick in".
