Thanks for posting this info, Don.
It will be awesome if this beautiful property will continue to be operated as a casino. :)
What a bargain, get it Glenny boy!

The article I read said they said they are undecided about making part of a casino. Which means if they can get their ducks in a row in an efficient manner I bet they will make part of it a casino. Owning a casino gives you a license to steal. And if they run it properly they should be able to make money hand over fist.
Edit: I do not know how to cut and paste but the article I read that made me think there still might be a casino there was not Zeus's article but an article from abcnews.com.

It is a beautiful place and of course I would love to see a casino there as long as I don't have to ride that scary escalator!! :hororr:
Cool video from Press of AC. Seems really weird how quiet and cold the place is empty!

My goodness, it should be called Escalator City! It is wild to see a place like that quiet and empty.

The hotel lobby was above the casino along with a restaurant or two I think. I remember access to the sky garden rooftop deck from the hotel lobby.
The 1st floor when you walked in from the boardwalk there was an escalator down to a sitting area.

They put in all these seating areas for when you lose the mortgage payment. As Credz demonstrated haha

Seating area on 1st level looks like a big place to keep riff raff out from.

I really hope they are successful with reopening this property. Although I didn't like the vibe of the casino, it is a beautiful building with a gorgeous indoor/outdoor pool looking right out to the beach and ocean.
Curious and anxious to see how this works out!

And the plot thickens. The courts may have this property tied up for some time.

They aren't going to get anywhere near what they think it's worth. Surrounding areas have AC oversaturated by casinos. Not gonna do it! My genius plan is still over on SF (http://slotfanatics.com/showthread.php?5234-CPT-s-Comprehensive-Plan-to-Save-Bankrupt-Revel-Atlantic-City!) for review by the bankruptcy court, I'm telling ya!

Free PBR Mondays! I would so fly to Philly and rent a car fot that. WooHoo!
1. Remove the Name - Rebrand!
Forget the fancy brand names, money is tight. The property will be leased to the Atlantic City Housing Authority to provide low income housing for it's residents. A little spray paint on the sign, new lettering advertising the ACHA, bam! No more Revel. Bad press!
http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb437/CennPennTraveler2/SR1.jpg
2. Accessorize the rooms. To make residents feel at home in their new living arrangements, add in brown recliners and Panasonic Microwaves.
http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb437/CennPennTraveler2/SR2.jpg
3. Make the hotel lobby feel more homey. Add brown recliners and play pens for the children.
http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb437/CennPennTraveler2/SR3.jpg
4. Convert the Spa into an indoor playground and lazy river. Lawn chairs for tenant comfort.
http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb437/CennPennTraveler2/SR4.jpg
That's it. Continue to rent out part of the rooms to tourists and run your casino as is. Pabst Blue Ribbon giveaways every Monday evening. I tried to save it before, but now it's too late.
Thank You
Head of Redevelopment
Kenneth
The sale has hit yet another roadblock.

What a disaster
It's just so wild those rooms were so nice and now they are sitting there empty with dust everywhere I'm sure. Poor Revel

Poor ac casino patrons dont know a good thing when they had it. But instead flock to the dump properties it seems.
And with it being this late in the year, if any kind of sale goes through they can kiss this summer season goodbye.
