If this actually happening I didn't see it coming though there's been rumors for years that MGM-M-life was thinking of selling the Mirage. So how many think this might be true and announced in a few weeks or so?

Very interesting. It's not unbelievable and certainly has been on the rumor mill for awhile now them wanting to sell. One to watch for sure, thanks for posting Diana!

I'd say it's true. No feelings on this. Haven't been there in years. Went when it first opened. So magnificent. Now just a mirage ....

Yeah, been rumored for a while now. No loss to me because it is my least favorite MLife casino.

Hmmm, wonder if that would affect my September 3 night comp through my local casino L'auberge?

Hope it wouldn't affect Love. Been wanting to get DH out to see it and was hoping to do it by next spring.

I have also heard that rumor for a while. Only stayed there for one trip back in 1998 and it was okay - not my favorite.

Cassie, I am sure you will be fine. It would probably take a few months for it to happen, plus they are saying a couple of weeks for it be announced so that puts it in to mid August.

Interesting rumor and it seems reasonable. Never stayed there but enjoyed some of their venues and restaurants.

Cass don't worry, you'll be fine!

Yep! Excalibur has a better selection of slots compared to the Mirage IMHO. Now don't get me wrong, Mirage is a very nice property, but I have not liked the casino in 6 or 7 years now.

With you 100% on that. Found quite a number of slots I liked at Excal. Very few at Mirage.

A lot of selling taking place. Debt is big for the big boys! Tropicana and Hooters have both been sold recently.

I'm sure it won't. Even after Cosmopolitan was sold it took the new owners a year to take over. Also it's in the new owners interest to try to keep as many M-Life gamblers as they can going to Mirage, like Treasure Island tried to do when it was sold. :)
