They reported a profit for the last quarter. First ever profit.

At the cost of tight slots probably. Good to hear they are turning the ship

I bet all their profit came from F&B and not gambling. I can't win a thing in that place lol.

The Cosmo was sold to the Blackstone Realty Group last summer for $1.7 Billion. They are primarily a real estate investment firm and from what I hear this is their first casino venture.

Not necessarily. They brought in a lot of business by running a bunch of baccarat tournaments. They also cut internal costs.
They are currently constructing a new high limit slot room as well. I'm curious to see what that will look like.

Nice where is that hl room section going to be?

Also if you could next time at aria find out when the damn slot floor will be. Back to normal. Hopefully before my trip in 2 weekends as the whole 550/side is tore up it looks like.
Will be in touch when. I am in town

Dv I think the new hl slot room is going to be next to the identity membership area. They had that area partitioned and were in heavy construction during my stay.

I saw one handpay on wonder 4 during my 4 day stay at Cosmo. But I do have to say although I didn't win big at Cosmo it felt like my money lasted longer there.

Evoni, as you and I have discussed, I am convinced that Cosmo has tightened things WAY the heck up since they initially put themselves up for sale. Between that and the extreme overhaul of their Identity program (which makes it almost twice as expensive to earn points), there is no way I'm going to bother with getting to Platinum again for the coming year. Gold is perfectly fine, and the Platinum perks aren't that much better anyway. Now if they offered a 24-hour Platinum lounge staffed entirely by cocktail-serving unicorns, maybe I'd reconsider.

I agree, just not worth going past Gold any longer at Cosmo. I'm still upset when I remember their VIP lounge when Cosmo opened and how fabulous it was and how quickly they took it away. :(

It became kind of a cat rodeo and only ended up having dinner with about 6 others while others were stuck at their various tables/machines.

Next to the identity close to check on area? Is that what is taking place of book and stage?

Slot room and new lounge/bar is supposed to take up the former book and stage area.
