Players card question-Good Idea or Bad idea

Here's the scoop. I get an Average of $200.00 a week FP offers from any CET property I've played at.

Never goes up, never goes down, no matter what or how I play.

Sharon has never had a card, she plays on mine.

I'm thinking next time I go to Kansas City, play like we normally do, get 1,000-1,500 TR points and go to bed.

Then the next morning, Sharon signs up for a Players Card and we don't use mine at all and play heavy on hers. 1,500-2,500 TR points and then head for home.

Wouldn't that generate some nice offers for her? Maybe between the two of us we would get $400.00- $500.00 a week in offers, for at least a couple months? Then go back to using mine and switch off every other time we play there.

Thoughts?

I think you should definitely try. It would be interesting to find out what she'll get. If you can increase you offers even a little, it'll be worth it.

I think you should try it GG, my husband and I just discussed doing the same thing at the GN, only I have the card and he doesn't.

I also think you should try it. You will never know unless you do. If it causes you free play to drop some, just make sure to stash away some nice wins while enjoying you extra free play so that you will have extra to play with on those trips. And most of all, don't forget to trade off you cards for the next day due to too much Crown and trigger another day of play on the wrong card! :thumb:

I think your last post sums it up...I think it should work as you say...but you may risk losing offers like the free Tahoe flights by dropping. !000pts per day seems to be the number that gets you on the junkets free.
You could do what you said but instead of using both cards all the time after mainly play on yours, then when you get 1200pts for a day switch to hers...or use hers on the short days, they days when you will not get as may points.

DH and I are linked at MLife. Have been for years. He is the bigger bettor. It used to be that one month he got the offer and the next month I got the offer. Now it seems like he is getting all the offers and they are much better than they used to be. We can't figure it out.

Who knows what goes into the thinking on these casino cards. I would give it a try for a few months and see what happens.

That is a concern...you would need to be careful to use the right card...Say the day you are playing on hers you imbibe a little and mistakenly put in yours for a while, only getting a few points.... that could really dent your ADT.....I do play this game and you really have to pay attention, but it can work.

Foamy gets what you do, my freeplay is never that high but we never play exclusively on mine like you are talking about doing since he always plays some craps. I like to keep my card for when I travel to Council Bluffs or LV without him, getting others in to the Diamond Lounge and get free drinks in CB :) I think I have only hit 1000 in a day one time.

We usually play on Sassycat's card only. But about 2 months ago we played on mine for a couple of days so we can get my card status up to diamond. So far all we have noticed was free room and concert offers and a tiny bit of food credit which we really don't need bc Karen gets all that stuff anyway. As yet no free play and it has been over 2 months and we put 2500 and 1800 tc's on my card before bonus.

Guess it depends on the property. As sondor points out just make sure you don't dilute your play to the point where you fall off the radar screen to get those Tahoe free flights.

I was drunk and sat down at a wicked winnings machine and bet $1.40 a spin for about 6 hours. Sharon even asked me if I had my card in, so I looked up and said yup, it's in because it's flashing yellow.

When I was done I pulled the card out, stuck it in my wallet and went to bed. The next morning I was counting my money to see what I had won or lost and noticed that I was down to only one players card, I usually carry two because I lose them.

Then when I looked at the card, it wasn't even MINE! It had the name David Delany on it! LMAO

The funny thing is I was texting them to@Laurie while they where having dinner with hawkeye and she didn't show them to Sharon after the got done eating but the funniest part was when Gene looked at me and I was drinking the crown out of the bottle and he was laughing so hard I drank the bottle but by the time the girls got there I was a mess too.

I wish CET would let couples link their cards, years ago they did. MLife does it, the Peppermill does it and I am sure many other casinos. Most couples play on one card anyway and if you want to take a trip without your partner your screwed of the benefits.

I've lost thousands at CET properties and have never been offered more than $50 freeplay. No rhyme or reason.
