Hey gang!

5 nights in AC. 1 "fancy dinner" and a good bit o' penny slotting .80 a spin to 2.50 spin. We are chairman status, so drinks and eats should be
covered for the most part.

Should 8 bones be enough for me? I am kind of afraid that might not be enough. How much would you guys bring? Any ideas to make it last?
I heard something about an envelope system... Just curious. Thanks Jokers.:decision:

If your talking 8k I would say yes just put $1500 in 5 envelopes one for each day then $500 for other stuff and your golden.

Yeah. I'd say 8 is more than enough. I usually do 1k per day. So for five days I'd probably do 5k.

HHH. I wish. That would be 8 hundy. Now,I am certain I am on the low end. Oh well, the life of a screenprinter. I will do the envelope trick.
Now just to stick to it. I have been known to go on tilt a time or 2.:culpability:

I am going to push it to a Grand for sure.

Slotdude, I am a big time low-roller. Sometimes I will grow a pair and bet bigger, but it is not the norm. You can get some great hits off of .60-.75 bets and more than double your daily BR. Good luck to you! I hope the slots will be in a giving mood.

Thanks for the pep talk Zeus! I think I can make it work on 1k. That's the number. Thanks again for the input.

On the days when nothing is hitting, just bail and don't chase. On days when things are hitting, ride the wave to shore. Getting desperate usually results in disaster

Right on!! Great advice. I can do this. I can do this.

I would be scared shitless traveling all the way to Vegas with only $800.00 to play with for any longer than one day, but good luck to you!!!

Since we take a $1000 for staying overnight in Laughlin, Nevada, I could never do 5 nights anywhere! Would love to hear if it works out for you, please post when you get back! Good luck.

I think if you play like Zues says you should be okay. I wish you the best of luck.

I thought you meant $800. I think you're safer with a grand for 5 days low rolling. I personally like to keep my bets at around a dollar and can usually get enough good hits to keep me going for a few days and I usually have a pretty small bankroll. I love to gamble, but there is a lot of travelling I could do for $8,000 lol, don't think I could ever put that much in a slot machine in 5 days.

$1000 at .80 to 2.50 a spin would still be tough. Might have to lower your bet size to .40 or .50 to maintain for 5 days. Where is a Chairman card from? Play the older Aristocratic games where you can play less lines. Good Luck Slotdude!

HHH!! I kind of am too. We live 50 mins away from Ac. So, I frequently visit. And rarely win. Hence, the puny bankroll for this particular trip.

BUT, I read and re- read your trip to Vegas with Ting. That gives me hope. Love that TR.

My wife is the " muscle" in the slot play department. We both play on her card. And we live close to the Golden Nugget. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.:torn: Yea, I like the old aristocrat games. Good call.

We really want to. But we are checking in that Tuesday the 25th to Sun. That open bar on the deck with you guys sounds very tempting though.

You have to do what have to do. Sometimes just what you can. Like Goldengreeke, I could not go for 5 days on $800 - that could go by the wayside easily in an hour of two... On the plane ride there I would be thinking "what am I going to do for the other 4 and half days...?"

$200 a day, all ya need! Well all I need. It really comes down to how much of a donation you want to give as 9 chances out of 10 that's what is going to happen. I prefer to not give so much, so I don't take it. :victorious:

We are low rollers too. We always plan about $200 a day for each of us. You can do it, and still have a great time.

That pretty much sums it up. 200 bucks a day. Envelope trick. And a dash of self discipline...Who am I fooling, I will probably be broke by thursday, but I have a wine festival and Bruce Springsteen tribute band to ease some of the pain.

Don't put more than a $20 into a machine. Try a stop loss system of $20 multiples. If you win, set a cash out at the next multiple of $20. Put that TITO in your pocket the reload with a fresh $20.

Helps ensure you won't go on tilt if you have no self control lol.

I'm planning on $500 a day for me for our Biloxi trip and I play around a $1.00 a spin. $800 for the whole trip would be hard to do for me.
