So for the first time since we moved to Vegas we decided to go and check out the Wynn and Encore. WHAT A MISTAKE!! They have the tightest slots I have ever played on. I think the whole time we were there we got the bonus just a handful of times and when we did it was for maybe 10x our bet I have never felt so raped by a casino before. Anyone else have this experience there?

Wynn's losing his ass in Macau right now. Makes sense he'd tighten up here stateside to weather the storm. You're not alone

I have never played there so I can't share my experiences. I believe MCP is the only success story I have heard from there.
Just take a look at their stock over the past year. It is very ugly. I am sure they are doing anything and everything possible to keep their shareholders on board.

He said it on his quarterly conference call so you should not be surprised that he tightened up the slots there was an article I posted a few months ago about it

They were always really bad- then I read the article too that he tightened them up even more. I get offers from them from my last slaughter there years ago and haven't bothered.

I was just there again recently and I really don't feel any difference personally. I played a ton of 88 fortunes and seem to get a lot of free games bonuses (but always mini and minor when my Tin closes. lol)

I have stayed there once a year for the last few years and didn't find it any tighter than downtown or other strip properties. I lose everywhere HHH I love the rooms and playing there and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again :)

Now that I think of it, the only 3 days that Sharon and I stayed there, we never won a darned thing and lost a thousand each day with bets of only a dollar or lower.

But..we LOVED our Parlor Tower Suite and ALL the restaurants! :)

I've had handpays there and nice size TITO....my problem is I tend to play it back. I love the ambiance, rooms and the Wynn Asian Rain scent. Like Laurie I stay there at least once a year. Last year 3x, this year 2x and will be checking in to my happy place in two weeks.

Like Laurie I too seem to lose everywhere in Vegas but I so enjoy the hotel and property.

My last stay at Pallazo I wenter over to the wynn. Big mistake for me also. Exact same outcome. Hardly any play back. No bonuses. In April when at the M and G stumble, I had a decent time there. I think they've tightened up alot because of Macau .

Wynn must be getting desperate for slot players. I just got offer for 2 nts and $100FP. Been over a year since they offered free nights to me.

Heard a recent podcast on Gambling With an Edge. It taljed about the Wynn and the strip in general regarding tightening. The guy interviews on the podcast was some one the news feeds went to for detailed info on the casinos in Las Vegas. He indicated the locals were not playing on the strip because of the tightened hold percentage - they were playing elsewhere off strip.

Considering Wynn stock was trading around 250 about 18 months ago and as low as 52 about 2 months ago that's a huge drop in equity - shareholders got to expect Wynn to cut and cut.
