Hi,

I have an online friend of many years who is going to be visiting relatives in Oregon in a few weeks. We got to be friends playing games but we talk about other stuff too so she knows I like to go to the casino. Anyway, she and her traveling party are planning to visit the Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon. I have told her how much I learn about stuff from "my slot boards" and I told her I would look for stuff about this place since she's never been.

Problem is I'm not finding much posting about this place anywhere.

Have any of you been there and if so, is it an ok place? She's looking forward to the night out so they're going regardless. But if it's tight or there's something else she should know (like restaurants to avoid/seek out, etc.) I'd appreciate the tips and will pass them along.

Thank you in advance! :)

Hi pkspins. I went there for only an hour or two in July. It's not a big casino or anything. They have a very decent amount/variety of slot machines. I didn't eat there just stopped in to play a little. kjell28 would know a lot more than I would.

Howdy...thanks SoCalRob for tagging me.
I like CW...as Rob said, it's kinda small, but good slot variety. I don't care for the buffet there, would rather eat somewhere in town. Lincoln City is nice, usually windy, at least the days I've been haha. I think there are outlet stores nearby.
Where exactly will your friend be during their visit? Might look into Spirit Mountain in Grande Ronde too...plenty of slots and better dining. That would be driving from Lincoln City inland towards Salem.

Thank you. I'm not sure exactly where they are staying. I know she looked up where the casinos are and this one is the one they can get to in the time that they have. They are just going for a few hours one evening where they'll have a car.
