I'm Back!

After taking a year off of gambling I just booked a trip to Harrah's NOLA November 3-6th. A lot has happened since I've been gone from the gaming: Got married, have a baby on the way, downsized my business...Been a rollercoaster of a year but looking forward to getting back into the mix. I wont be gambling like I used to...much MUCH smaller bank roll which will take some getting used to but at least I get to hit the slots again! Dunno what I'm thinking after looking at my last two years "win-loss" statements...I probably should stick to the FREE slots online...lol! Well, I'm hoping NOLA is FINALLY kind to me and I'm looking forward to some new games. Anyone know if Harrah's has changed much down there in the last 12 months?

Glad to see you back back pawn and yeah you can't smoke anywhere in there you can at the fairgrounds but the parish harrahs is in is non-smoking

Welcome pawnshop. Used to enjoy reading about your escapades but fully understand that with new marriage and baby on the way things will be toned down a little. Still looking forward to your contributions. As far as smoking at Harrah's NOLA is concerned my understanding is that it is the whole casino. You have to go outside to smoke. They are currently working to add an area or areas where you can play and smoke but if their plan gets approved it is supposed to be at least partially outside or open aired. Not sure of exact details.

Are you doing your 7 star trip from last year to NOLA? I fell 15k tier credits short of 7stars and haven't gambled since last October so this is just a "fun" trip. Would have chosen Vegas but had to go where the wife wanted to go!
