Last week I was at Lake Tahoe and played in a slot tournament at Montbleu at 10:00. I got a pretty high score and they said to come back at 2:00 to see if I qualified for the next round. There were several other sessions after me so how knows?? In the meantime we went to Harrah's where we like to spend our money to build our points. DH had to play Foamy's Bubble Machine (which is now a tradition for him). So I decided to play behind him on a silly 25 line machine "Outback Mystery" Well this machine was not making me rich but was giving me a lot of play, put in a $20 cash out $40 or $50 on and on. At 3:00 after playing several hours on this one machine I realized I missed the call for the Montbleu tournament (I'll never know now if I would have moved on). Anyway would you leave a machine that was giving you a little bit of play to check back to see if you qualified for the slot tournament at a different casino. If I had realized before 2:00 I am not sure if I would have left this machine that was giving me more fun than $'s but was not cutting into my BR.

Same thing happened to me when we were there in July. I got the highest score - first round but it wasn't that much higher and got busy playing at CET and didn't go back over. I forgot what the highest score there pays. Don't you have to play another round at 2:00?

Well if I thought it was high enough I would have went back and I'm glad he's still play in the bubble machine you can turn some points

They say it's a $1000 tournament but divided up

Divided up its only $220 for 1st place in free play so glad I didn't bother. Now I know for next time.

Yes you have to play again at 2 to see where you place

yeah i woulda went and checked same machine will always be there. and then went and got basecamp pizza lol

Yes love base camp pizza great beer. Everyone wanted my machine it had a bonus to hit by $500 and it was at $490 but moving slow. Damn if do damn if you don't
