For anyone who has a chance to get on the Tarzan machine at Harrah's, Pa..........you should give it a whirl. Was there yesterday and, as of last night, the top jackpot was over $17,000 and was still going strong. I played it for hours, but no jackpot. The attendants told me that it usually hits around $12,000 and they are all hovering nearby to be there when it hits.

This brings me to another subject. While I was playing, and very sure I was going to hit, I was pondering how much of a tip I would give on a $17,000 jackpot. Wanted to be prepared. Of course, I ended up not having to worry about that, but just wondering what everyone else would tip on a jackpot that size.

I'd give $100 to all involved parties. I think you should go back and see if it's still there, give it another go! Hehe

Probably $500 but I will never hit something like that so I don't have to worry.

Yeah $100 to security, slot attendant, etc. So probably $200-$400 depending on how many people show up for a $17k jackpot!

Margery, I hope you hit it next time you are there. I guess I'm cheap, I would only tip $200.00. :)

I am cheap also. I would probably go with $200 just due to the fact that probably 6 or 8 attendants would show up just because it was a huge HP hoping to get a piece of it. But I do not anything to worry about!

I can see where 2 casino people are required to hand pay a large jackpot. One to count it out and the other to witness the counting/paying the winning player.

I'd probably tip $100 to all the attendants as well. [emoji4]

That is what I figured, but in 2013 at Aria I saw where someone was getting a HP and there were several jackets standing around. I did not see how much it was, but just assumed it must have been a big one.
