Don't see a lot of changes personally???
We want our valuable guests to be the first to hear about their 2016 Total Rewards benefits. Great news, all of your favorite benefits will still be available!
All Total Rewards members will continue to earn Tier Credits and Reward Credits when playing, dining, shopping or staying at a Total Rewards resort or casino. Show your Total Rewards card everywhere you go or bill to your room to make sure you're receiving all of the credits available to you.
Platinum, Diamond and Seven Stars members receive discounts at casino gift shops, priority lines and the ability to gift up to 5,000 Reward Credits to a friend.
Diamond and Seven Stars members receive an annual Celebration Dinner, access to the Diamond Lounge, and eligibility for Aspirations at 40,000 and 80,000 Tier Credits.
Seven Stars members will enjoy their Annual Retreat to any Total Rewards resort or casino, invitation to a Signature Event with a choice of four dates in 2016, an annual Voyage with Norwegian Cruise Line®, a complimentary room for any visit, a Companion Card to share priority service with someone special, and eligibility to earn Seven Stars Signature Experiences.
Plus, beginning in 2016, you can enjoy all of your Total Rewards benefits sooner:
2016 benefits will now be available February 1st, two months earlier than previous years.
Your Tier Status will still be earned from January 1 through December 31 of each year.
And you may continue to take advantage of your current 2015 benefits and Tier Status through March 31, 2016.
We will continue to keep you updated as we introduce other changes to improve your Total Rewards experience. Thank you for your continued loyalty!
As somewhat of a newbie to TR, let's say we want to use our Diamond Celebration dinner at Kansas City. Can it be used at 37 Steak? And how do you go about redeeming it?

You would have to ask at the desk, from what I have read it sounds like it. They print you a voucher to use, Looks like a receipt that says $100 celebration voucher. In AC they have Kiosks but in KC I'm guessing you go to the desk like at Joilet.

I'm wondering about the third bullet point re diamond dinner redemptions... Does this mean you need to book your dinner prior to March 2016?

I would say your one from last year...The 2016 one I would think would be valid to Feb od 2017 , assuming they are advancing the date to Feb in the future.

Thanks Sondor, just skeptical regarding announcements like this. I just used my diamond dinner comp from 2014 this month. Reading this makes me think I'll need to use my 2015 comp before March end.

Are you sure you didn't use your 2015 dinner at GRS? And the 2014 one expired March of this year?

No I'm not 100% sure. I used my last diamond dinner in Nola last October. That dinner was likely from 2013 play.

I think the prior years dinner expires the following year in March. So Diamond dinner for 2013 expires 2014 in March. 2014 in 2015 in march. 2015 in 2016 in march. etc etc...

I think SoCalRob is correct. I was told I had to use my 2015 Diamond dinner by March 31, 2016. I used it on this trip at BLT Steakhouse.

Thanks everyone this was news to me as I thought I spent my diamond dinner comp last week from my 2014 diamond achievement.
I guess this means I'll be spending my diamond dinner at 37 Steak in KC next February

Lol I get so confused by all of CET's dates. I didn't realize I had a Diamond aspiration trip still waiting for me until I got a random email about it. I think I have until June to use it?

Sondor's right about going to the desk to have them print your dinner voucher. I used one last Feb in KC but haven't a clue if it was 2014's or 2015's. I may actually have 2 I can use in KC if it was 2014's!

Saw this on Total Rewards website about celebration dinners.

–All 2015 Aspirations are valid until 6/30/2016

That's a good example that seems easier to understand. I don't know why they have to make it so damn confusing!

Just got this e-mail from CET - While I haven't had to pay resort fee's in the past (being a Diamond member) at least this puts it in writing. I wonder if it will include free wi-fi?
Hello Dawn,
We are pleased to inform you that beginning February 1st, all Total Rewards® destinations will offer the following hotel benefits:
• Early check-in and late check-out will be complimentary for Diamond and Seven Stars® members when available
• Resort fees will also be complimentary for all Diamond and Seven Stars members, and all elements included in the resort fee will be complimentary
• Seven Stars members may also enjoy one complimentary movie per day*
We will continue to keep you updated as we introduce other changes to improve your Total Rewards experience. Thank you for your continued loyalty!

The way I read it it includes free wi fi.
I love the early check-in part. When we go to Vegas we always arrive late afternoon or early evening, so we stay at Caesars first, then move to Aria or Bellagio since we can get our room by 11:00am. Now we will be able to do the opposite.

I'm reading it the same way as you, seemoreroyals, that the wi-fi is now included. It always made my blood boil that I didn't have to pay for the resort fee, but yet I still had to shell out $14.95 a day for wi-fi in the room.

I hope it means free Wi-Fi, about damn time...someplaces will even not let you comp off the wifi charge with comp $$$...

Yay, free wi-fi! I'm betting that next year the tier requirement to make diamond will go up.

With diamond you also get 2 tickets every month for one of the shows listed. Not the big name ones but decent ones regardless. Always ask the tr desk what do I have available.
Worst nickel and dime experience I had. it was free wifi after feb 1. I went feb 4 but they said since i booked my rooms before feb 1 I cant get free wifi.

Really? That means they spent the time to think about that and decided to charge people for it after- that is a bad nickle/dime experience if there ever is one!

Wow they didn't do this in KC. I booked our rooms before Feb 1st and they comped my wifi for our stay starting Feb 4th.

Things like that don't bother me, so I just let it slide. Plus when iam away I like to use my phone as little as possible.
