As one of the first 36 members to join this JWE forum I noticed some peeps have not started any threads yet. Personally I have started the thread Old Screen Names vs New Screen Names which seems to be the welcome mat for new members. It gives me pleasure to connect to other members when they share some of their lives with us.
I think the timing of the Kansas City M & G coincided with this forum getting off the ground. I know these things take time (it's only been a month). :victorious:I think I can speak for those of us that went to KC that a lot of friendships were launched that weekend. Let's keep building on those friendships by starting new threads more often. I want to know what's going on with you Jokers in between M & G's.

Goldengreeke said 200 by end of march and it's on pace. As far as everyone getting along I'm not surprised when you over moderate and try to control everything that's when theres problems.

Ida I was a lifelong introvert but there is something about slotting & the people connected to it that has made me somewhat of an extrovert.

I want to see more threads about gambling trips in Wins and Trips. I know sometimes they've been getting buried in my weekend plans threads and I hope people will start making individual threads more for their gambling escapades.

It would be nice if we could look at all the threads posted to in the last couple of days. sassycat on my iphone when I'm in the Tapatalk App for JWE the homepage shows categories such as trending, timeline, unread, subscribed, & participated. You can touch the unread area to see posts you have not read yet. In participated you can keep up with posts that you previously commented on. I know you have an android phone so I'm sure it's different.

I haven't had anything to contribute as I haven't been to a casino since KC! AC next Friday/Saturday..will do a live report for sure. :nod:

Darrell, I too am an introvert. I was somewhat nervous about the KC M&G because I was hoping that I would not stay in my shell. Once I got there it never became an issue. I guess spending a year getting to know the people truly made it easier.

You know something, you are correct. A previous slotting forum I was on, I joined and lurked for 3 or 4 months before I ever posted. I was hesitant to make that first post. But once I did I felt very accepted and never hesitated again about posting. I am sure that is the case with a lot of the folks.

There's always going to be lurkers on forums, and sometimes I'm one of them on certain forums when I'm just going to look up information I need for something. Lurkers are fine, much preferred over trolls and spammers. :)

I can say on the old forum my husband was on practically everyday, and enjoyed it but never posted. I posted a few times for him, but just because he didn't post doesn't mean he didn't feel included enough to attend a Meet/greet. Some folks "just like to watch"[emoji6]

I just want to say how happy I was to meet several new people in KC. I didn't find many introverts at all. I'm not the best in those situations either, but find you just have to jump in and socialize. Everyone is really friendly.

I'll post more next week, this week we've been getting the big bosses out of town for their la ti da spring break vacations, while the cats are away yes the employees will be playing - although I went to work today on 4 hours sleep cause had some FP had to use on last night only and wasn't going to let a little thing like employment get in my way, coupla cans of Rooster Booster mid afternoon and everything was A-Okay.. I'll write about how I won big last weekend and pretty much gave it back this week, painful but entertaining, am still up kinda lol... Played a lot of new machines, have some pics.. everyone have a great Friday!

It makes it easier for sure. Then you can view this forum on Tapatalk and there's a little icon on the screen where you just load pics directly from your camera phone. Like I am on my phone right now:

Instead I see Reply, Share, Unsubscribe, Web View, & Refresh. What do I need to do to get the New Topic choice to show ?
