We have been cooking pork in the smoker for the last few days getting ready for our Free customer lunch we do once a year during our filter sale. Yes they are the best!! Second year in a row I've seen them but last year Christine McVie wasn't back so I had to go to see them again. Foamy went with me last year but not this time.

It's slow cooker Porchetta time!
This is easily the best thing I make. It's amazing and so simple. The rub on it has rosemary, garlic, fennel seed, amongst other things. The rub makes the whole house smell amazing.
The most "difficult" part is searing the pork loin, which isn't even hard, only takes five minutes.

AHaha I love fish sticks! I usually get cod or haddock, but today, we have sticks and ore-ida, brings back my childhood!
The real question this week is if Gordon Fisherman is better than Mrs.Paul's fish sticks as you get almost double with her than the fisherman for the same price. As of right now, I think I'll stick with Mrs.Paul and her extra. The BBQ potato are amazing, total cafeteria food, but amazing!
I have to believe that Mrs. Paul is a grandmother and puts a little love in to each fish stick, so yeah, I would stick with her.

This is one of several from last night at dinner. It is called the 131 Maniac. It is a local restaurant called 131 Main and this is their signature cocktail. It is my favorite cocktail ever and try to have them often. Southern Comfort, Peach Schnapps, Disaronna and sweet & sour mix. They are just like a Lays chip, you cannot have just one. Sorry no food porn. I was about tore up from these that I forgot the food pics! Also forgot to use the gift certificate we had. Not sure if it was due to being :very_drunk: or just plain :stupid:

Well the fancy people call it brunch, I just call it I didn't have breakfast yet, may as well just combine the two! That sets us up for early dinner and then room for ice cream around 6pm. There is a method to my madness!

The cheesesteak pics are killing me, nice very nice! Just realized it's Friday the 13th (again), working lunch while the boss gets to go eat fancy - ho-made cheapass walmart ham and walmart american cheese with Vlasic spicy pickles on cheapass white bun (out of ziplocks so stuck it all in a box, looks good actually), Super Rooster Booster from Quiktrip, Lays beef mac and cheese flavored potato chips (not too impressed with the flavor vs. the cheezy garlic bread, but someone has to finish the bag so guess it's me) desert will entail a box of Girl Scout Cookies, add some Cadbury chocolate easter eggs it's all good lol - happy Friday all!

Blase Thanks. I sear cod on both sides on stove top, then place thyme and lemon juice on it and bake off in the oven at 400. I do most of my meats like this, thanks to the FoodNetwork.

That surely isn't a Subway Cheesesteak, ha! I grew up on these things. There was only 1 sub shop in my area (growing up) that made them a certain way that I really liked. They used a good shaved Rib-Eye steak and had gotten their bread fresh daily from a small local Italian bakery. They were the best! I've moved around since then and can't find anything, anywhere that's similar.

OMG that pastrami was seriously one of the most amazing things I've ever put in my mouth. It had a brown sugar/cracked black pepper crust which made it sweet but spicy at the same time.

Probably a little more than that I just kinda broke it down in my head I usually use a gallon of catsup so it's a rough estimate you can toy with I don't usually measure I just put in what looks right. hhh

Bourbon black pepper beef roast. Cooked it a little too long so it wasn't pink in the center but it still tasted phenomenal.

These are from Cucina Cucamonga at Disney California Adventure, one of my favorite places. The burrito (burrito Sonora) is mine, chicken fajita burrito with red (guajillo) sauce and beans. The chicken is moms fire grilled chicken and comes with beans, rice and two tortillas. Dad gets beef fajita soft tacos with beans and rice.
The churros are mini and the sauce is supposed to be Mexican chocolate but it was watery and tasted like crap. The churros were pretty good but would be better just cooked.
