I was in New Orleans last weekend for Comic Con, and stayed at Harrah's. It was a pretty nice room (which was comped due to my play at Kansas City last year) and the slots were nice to me with the limited time I had to play. I left up by $300! I think others have mentioned there's not too many other casinos in NOLA, but Biloxi definitely has lots of choices. Hope you guys have a great time if you do go that way!!

I think Harrah's is the only casino in NOLA.

I thought it was nice didn't play much or eat at the beau. Don't know if you checked rates at Nola harrahs it is rare for me to get comped there. I looked and there are no free and only an occasional 69 dollar night for me. I have stayed there and the rooms are very nice as is the hotel. In the past I have also stayed at the Hilton riverside twice and that was comped. It is next to harrahs.

i go to the Beau often and it is my favorite casino in Biloxi. It is a very nice hotel and has a large casino floor. It is connected to MLife so if you have a card, you may be able to get a discounted room. The Beau is within walking distance of the Hard Rock Casino. There is a casino hopper to get to the other casinos if you don't have a car.

Yeah weve never been there so im sure we woun't get a deal on a room. But like you say there other places close by and that's probably what we will do . if we do the trip im thinking stay at the best western with them we at least get a free breakfast .

I have stayed at the Beau Rivage 4 times. Great service clean rooms, pool area is nice, steakhouse is expensive but the food is Delicious!! Duck fat fries.. OMG. Roasted bean is a great little coffee shop. We actually walked down to the Golden Nugget.. We enjoy a good morning walk along the water front. Hope to go back in April or May!

I love the Roasted Bean for a Mocha and a scrumptious cinnamon pecan sticky bun.

foamy - I have never tasted them before until I went to BR Prime at the Beau and. OMG. They came with 3 dipping sauces.. but they were delicious all by themselves. We were too full for dessert and our server recommended coming back and sitting at the bar.. which we did.. CHEESECAKE to Die for.. and the bartender suggested pairing it with a stout.. Great Combo!!!

@FLMary.. I too love the Mocha.. my morning go to drink.

Like normal french fries.. but they fry them in Duck Fat.. so they have amazing flavor, and don't taste oily or greasy at all. Now you guys have me thinking.. that if I have a rainy day when we are in Gulf Shore.. that I have to drive up to Biloxi.. use my free play at the Beau, see if the new place is still matching offer.. and get me some damn DUCK FAT FRIES>
