FYI my bonus tier credits posted today.

I got 5,000 bonus for making diamond aspirations level 1 and then 1,900 points for the October to December promo. So I'm halfway to Diamond already for this year.

OMG! Wow - he is already Diamond Aspirations 2 and on his way easily to 7 star.
On his bonuses-he got 5000 for getting Diamond 1
He got 5000 for getting Diamond 2 aspirations
and then 20% of his play from Oct - Dec 31?

He must have some good play this year already too!

Thanks for posting! I was thinking it wouldn't be until the 31st. I made aspiration 1 barely, but got it, at 8200 for the year already and only played once there.

I'm totally taking advantage of them though this year, rather than playing my usual there, I'm cutting back from CET big time. I'll play just enough to get to 15,000 this year to make Diamond and then I'm done- their slots are just too tight compared to other casinos and not worth it to me.

Yes it's crazy, he has been to casino 3 times in January. I think he got 10,000 from the aspirations level bonuses and 22,000 for the Oct-Dec bonus.

He hit 4 jackpots already this year too.

Question since he is 7 star does he still get the stuff you get for the aspiration levels this year? Last year was first time making 7 star so this is all new. I want to make sure he takes advantage of all his perks.

That's my plan too - I have about 8900 tier credits. After I make Diamond I will focus on other networks. Definitely renewing gold status at V/P because I enjoy staying there and probably play a little more in Mlife network this year.

Yes except for the $100 diamond celebration dinner - but he gets the $500 celebration 7 star dinner.
Has he already used his Diamond 1 and 2 aspirations from last year and 7 star benefits from last year?

As far as this year - once he gets Diamond Level 1 - which he has - he gets the Diamond 1 - which is 4 nights and a $100 resort credit that must be redeemed by Jan 31, 2017 and completed by June 2017. The same dates apply for Diamond Level 2 which includes the $750 airfare and 4 nights.

As far as the 7 star benefits earned in 2016 - must be redeemed by Jan 31 2017 (which has to be booked at least 30 days in advance)

So plan for lots of comped trips!!!

He never used his $100 resort credit for diamond 1 from 2015. We are using his diamond 2 trip from 2015 in February to go to Vegas and we are planning to use 7 star trip from 2015 to go to San Diego. We have not used his $500 7 star dinner but we did use his 2015 diamond dinner last year before he made 7 star.

I don't want to miss out on anything LOL

yeah, the amount of extra money I spent- just to get a $100 food credit at one of my stays and 5000 bonus points aren't worth it. If I can abuse it get diamond for half price this year because of it though it helps. Going to get back on the radar at Station Casinos again- only place I could win at on my last Vegas trip, although I cut them off when their offers became inconsistent a few years ago.

As a 7 star at Harrah's Rincon - he gets 2 free buffets each day and the buffet is REALLY good! The Mexican restaurant is good there too! But you will have a $500 food credit so will be hard to use it all.

Also - you can print out your 7 star celebration dinners from $100 - $500 at a time and use it while in Vegas. Need to use it by March 31 of this year or lose it. Also while in Vegas for your Level 2 - you get 4 high roller tickets with drinks.

Take advantage of every benefit - you and your BF earned it!!

You are correct my man!! You must book by May 30 and have to complete trip by June 30.
I would try to book it before May 30 - because sometimes it takes a couple of weeks for them to actually book it.
Thanks for the nice comments!! :adoration:

We used the high roller tickets with drinks in December when I took my mom & dad to Vegas.

One good thing that I noticed from this year - they sent me an email toward the end of the year telling me what benefits that I still had left to redeem. They have never done that before.

Have a great time in Vegas and San Diego. We really enjoyed our trip to Harrah's Rincon in December.

We enjoy all the resort destinations that CET has to offer so we will probably dedicate all of our play to CET again this year too.

I would probably feel that way if we went to Vegas a lot. We very seldom do very good at CET properties in Vegas and do not get very many comps either.

However - our local CET is awesome and very generous and gives us full room and beverage comp plus lots more. Plus - I love Lake Tahoe and get comp or reimbursed flights and usually one or two junket flights to Atlantic City each year and lots of other CET places (aka KC, Council Bluffs, Rincon, Windsor) that we have visited and others that we may want to visit.

I just saw my email, earned the 5000 plus another 4200. So now with what I earned already, should be around 13000 tier credits.

I should easily make diamond prior to my end of February trip to Vegas, yay more diamond dinner vouchers!!

Only time I play at a CET is during a M & G. Only twice in 2015 (KC & Tahoe) so I am no slave to the Rewards program. Did get 2 comped nights for KC next week along with $40 FP & 2 comped buffets so for only getting 2900 TC (lowly gold) I didn't do too bad. Wouldn't mind spending some extra time over at Ameristar beyond the Party Bus Stop.

I concur clemi In 2015 we gave CET more play than we ever have and made Diamond. I have had so many questions that after struggling to find answers to on their website, sassycat has answered everything that I have had a question on. Thank you, my friend!

So far I can say that we have liked the way we have been treated by CET. Who knew two low-rollers like us would have a host! And Mary, our host, has responded to our inquiries within a couple of hours each time.

You are welcome sweetie!! I am glad that you are being treated well - of course - most of that is because you are SOOO NICE!!

It is really hard to get the answers you need on their website because it is hard to know where to look.

There are some nice perks to being diamond for sure!

That's a tough question - because you may get 3 different answers. I really believe that the hosts do not have or want to have or give you all the information. It seems like to me if you call and ask for the Total Rewards desk at the specific property they will give you a straight answer.

Usually I contact a host, get one answer and then contact Total Rewards at that property and get a different answer and then contact VIP services at that property and get another answer but VIP service (not host) has been more accurate than any other.

On another note our local cut comps down I'm the highest tier and they took away gas cards and you used to get rooms anytime now only a couple times a month
, no free ciggies anymore and less freeplay I talked to my host he isn't happy but their main competitor Prarie Meadows did the same thing so they figured they could so he said its corporate I told him well I have to vote with my feet so you won't see me much I'll go to harrahs in KC.

My Local Isle of Capri stuck it too me in the ass too foamy, FP went from $100.00 a week to $25 a week, no more free drinks, no more cocktail party invites, and no more free Faraday Dinners.
Screw them, I'll give CET properties all my play this year unless things change there!

I'm very new to CET having only played twice at Harrah's Cherokee. I have a question I'm hoping some of you knowledgeable people can help me with. What is the benefit of linking TR cards? (I think this is called adding a companion card?). I go to Cherokee with my adult son. I have comped rooms anytime. He recently got what I assume is a one time teaser offer for free week day nights. We would like separate rooms when we go and will book under individual offers for our next trip. I doubt that in the future he will get any comp offers. If I add his card to my account will that help improve his future offers? What's the companion card/linked card thing all about?

Pretty sure if you link them you would have to be there to use the offer. I'm not sure you could even link the two. I would just leave them separate and if you go together he can add you on that reseveraion but you would not get your own room then. Hopefully it makes sense, generally if you add another person you would be sharing a room. You may be better off playing n his card for him while you are there a bit to lift his aft.

Actually, I don't think CET players' cards can really be linked. When booking a room, you can add another person's TR #. When Penguin and I were both Gold, doing that would sometimes get us a slightly better room rate. We decided to mostly play on my card and once we made Platinum level on it, it made no difference whether or not we included his TR# on the reservation.

They used to, in fact at one point we had joint cards of some kind, they they said we could not have that and they issued us both one and linked them somehow with my card as the primary. Her point would transfer to my card, it always seemed a mess. We stopped using her card and just used mine. Things may have changed because we tried to use hers once and my name was on the screen. Whatever they call it, it was not worth the problems.

sassycat

They don't link CET cards anymore.
To get a companion card - I think you either have to get Diamond Level 2 (80K tier) or 7 stars.
With the companion card - the companion can get in the Diamond Lounge without you, check into the hotel, skip lines, etc but does not get extra offers unless their own play warrants. Also- the companion has his own TR # - not the same as yours.

A couple of years ago we asked in Vegas and at Cherokee and was informed that they could not link mine and Allen's cards. So now we just play on his card. Only downside is I cannot plan a CET trip without him. Oh well, I would not want to go without him anyway. Aww, isn't that sweet? HHH!

On a side note, I sure hope our Vegas offers from TR continue through Memorial Day. On our offers that we have been receiving for the past several months, and that now run through the end of April, have included $300 in FP, along with some F&B. I know that is not a lot to most of you, but it is the best we have ever received from them.
