View Full Version : We're going back to Council Bluffs!

We just booked a three day trip for March 10 -13th. We got a $600 airfare credit, free nights (Hilton Garden Inn I think) and GM Club passes. Not sure how much freeplay but we've got that too.

It's not Vegas, but it's 100% free except for our gambling money. We had a nice time last time we went so we thought what the heck and made our reservations. This time we want to eat at 360 Steakhouse since we didn't get a chance to last time. I'm excited!

Good deal and go to 360 after dark and try to sit on the river side it is really a great view.

nice too bad they dont give ya the $600 for travel credit and then just drive down :D

Yes.. In 12 more sleepy times. Hoping Shannon and I can make a day trip up to Biloxi so I can use my free play at Beau Rivage and Hard Rock.. And who am I Kidding.. To get a gambling fix :). Still waiting for you to share more Hawaii photos!

Now I'm not sure if we are staying at Hilton/Horseshoe or at Harrahs. DH is waiting on the confirmation e-mail.

We were so impressed with the GM lounge last time we were there...the food WAS yummy and the ambiance was nice.

Yes the Hilton is attached to Horseshoe. Small hotel, there are other partner hotels in walking distance that they will comp stays at.

Are you sure you can't get credit on that airfare for driving to Council Bluffs instead of flying? Have you called and asked? Tell them you'll drive there if they give you $300 and then they will save $300. Worth a try. :)

We should have thought of that but we've already got our tickets. Besides, I'd rather do a 1 hour flight than a seven hour drive...:onthego::onthego: I'm good in the car for 3 or 4 hours but then I want OUT!

So far around 400 on southwest into Reno through Denver. Delta is over 500
