Anyone going to AC Easter weekend? I was checking the Borgata calendar and was shocked to see Friday at $79 a night and Saturday for $99. Those are the cheapest weekend rates I've seen and on a holiday weekend, I snatched it up!

..And in true degenerate style I already have a comp room booked at Mohegan Sun Pocono for Thursday night. I'm not sure if my bankroll is ready for it, but I can't pass it up! Weather pending of course! :smug:
Good for you! Hey, with paying for the room you are not obligated to play a whole lot. Maybe you will have you some excellent wins playing Kenny-style to keep you playing. I look forward to being entertained that weekend!

I'm going to have a NJ lotto blowout too probably! I received my new insurance cards and realized they still insuring the 2013 Impreza, in which I now have a 2015 Legacy. So I called them up and told them to tell me the damage, as I just assumed it would cost more. No, they are now sending me a $98 refund as it is actually lower to insure the newer and more expensive car! :o If they say so!

I realize you're booked at the Borgata already, but did Platinum Kenny check Harrah's room prices at all for that weekend?
Just curious if they were offering special Easter weekend rates also. :)

Harrah's: $95 & $188
Caesars: $85 & $165
So Platinum Kenny will be Borgata Kenny and just use the Platinum to park free at Caesars on the boardwalk. And maybe hit my free play and run, they ain't gonna be happy! But they get what they get out of Platinum Kenny..hehe :star:

Hey Ken, I had booked that Thursday and Friday already...not sure if I am coming but definitely more motivated now that I have a partner in crime. Won' t know till middle of March...I have some work issues to work through. I may just add the Saturday and let Thursday go. It has been a while.

That is so true and I've thought about that! More than anything they would probably cut the rooms that I do get from them and I'd rather not ruin that relationship over $5 in free play. Oh the struggles!

That being said, our Vegas offers get better and better every trip.

Thanks Billy! The rule of thumb is, if you aren't going to play and have history, do not scan your card, anywhere on property. That way it doesn't count as a trip and won't affect your ADT (Average Daily Theoretical). Some say when only playing for a little the day you leave, will hurt you more than help in the end, also something to consider. With CET, although connected, they do like your play to be at the property you are getting the room at. As you are experiencing in Vegas, you will find their happy spot for the do's and don'ts! :)

We've never played in the same place for the whole day - we ordinarily spread our low rolling around 5-6 casinos of a day. We have learned to play as much in the same group of properties now so that might have made the difference in the most recent bump we've had. Will make sure to get a clearer understanding of the ins and outs of this before we hop the flight next month.

Hey I just booked an 11 day blowout in AC over that weekend! Since it's a 7 hr drive from the Cape, I booked a couple of comp days at Foxwoods to get me closer (that was my excuse anyway), then Borgata since they gave me a comped Thurs and Friday that weekend so I only pay for Sat. Which was a decent price, then 3 comped days at Harrahs and then back to Borgata for 3 more days. I'll definitely have my radar out for some Jokers.
I was there a few weeks ago and came home a little ahead so still have my BR. I was losing all week but on the last day at Borgata, I put my Tito into what I thought was a penny machine and pressed 50 then realized my mistake. It was a quarter machine and I just bet $10! My low rolling heart nearly stopped BUT the slot gods were with me and I got a bonus and all sorts of numbers started adding up during that time so I figured I didn't lose my ten bucks. I took the Tito out immediately and looked down...was a little over $1,000 plus what I already had on it. Woo hoo...lucky me! Didn't make me even yet but then I got a $500 progressive on another. Was so stunned by both wins I didn't even take a pic...lol
So back I go to AC for some more fun, c u there I hope.

I am heading out of work at 2:30 and heading to Mohegan Sun. I am meeting my parents and mom's cousin at Johnny Rockets for dinner this evening.
