Found this information that really looks good.

After reading and looking at Dvandentop's trip to Atlantis -it really makes me want to go.
I think we will take advantage of this offer.

I hope this link works:

And for people that aren't CET players but are interested in Atlantis they offer 4 free nights to many, many other premium card holders.

http://www.atlantisbahamas.com/casino/specialoffers/acpromotion

This expires soon, but they have offered this for many years so hopefully it will be extended once again.

A M&G there would be awesome. Just wish round trip airfare for two from my area wasn't $1,100.00 plus luggage fees....

Yeah, the cheapest I have found for flights so far is $580 per person. And it is only like a 2 hour flight for us. [emoji47]

Have you ever been? Dvandentop seems to really be enjoying!

I have been there a number of times when I have cruised to Nassau, so only for 4 or 5 hours at a time. It is a beautiful resort and it really is quite breath taking when you first see it. My experience in the casino has been that it is pretty damn tight, but then that is my experience in my most places :) For the size of the casino, they have a decent selection of machines.

From folks I know that have stayed there, there is a pretty big difference in the base rooms and the ones in the fancier towers. There are also a lot of mandatory extra fees that anyone booking there should be very aware of. I have no idea whether or not the comp offers knock these fees off or not. The pools at Atlantis are amazing and the beach is decent. There are water slides and a lazy river and other neat features. Food and drinks are very expensive.

I have been to Nassau many times, and have done all kinds of neat excursions like snorkeling, segway tours, catamaran rides and island tours. There is a rich pirate history there which is fascinating to me. There is also a weird little area I like called the fish fry which is a number of ramshackle restaurants with the most fresh conch and fish you can imagine. So there are things to do off the resort, which anyone staying for more than 2 or 3 days might want to check out.

Once you get to the airport at Nassau - how do you get to the resort? Do they have a shuttle or do you take a taxi?

I've always taken a taxi or the water shuttle from the cruise port. I believe Atlantis has some short of shuttle, but for sure you can take a cab but that would probably be $40 or more. I am sure Derek will chime in next time he is online.

When I looked up the Beach Towers it stated that the rooms are 275 sq ft. That is about half the size of an Aria room. It is no big deal because we never hang in the room when on a trip.

Thanks slotmanjack! Wonder if he could do any better than what CET is offering.

Pretty sweet - Deluxe Ocean Suite
Complimenary Resort Fees, Maid Fees, and taxes
$100 resort credit per day
250 free slot play
and more.

I think this is all upfront without a minimum required amount of play.
I noticed that some offers required a certain amount of play.

That is definitely a nice offer. All of those fees add up and that resort credit would definitely come in handy, not to mention the free play. Better to get it upfront, because I have heard they are very tough about comping things off after the fact.

When you get a chance - let us know about how much resort fees are. It looks like we could get waive resort fees, maid fees, and taxes - so do you think that is about $75 -100 per day?

Trust me on this take the fees waived. Sometimes rooms can be as high as $600 a night especially at the cove. Paying tax on $600 a night will get very expensive. The fees are a new thing for them as well as the tax. I think they got alot of negative feed back from regulars that they are now looking to comp that.

I've stayed at the cove its super nice and easily run into celebrities there.

This was my fees per person per day so add that up and it can increase quickly would rather take that over freeplay
This is for royal towers cove most likely more

The resort fees use to be $49.99 per night. This is the one thing with Atlantis comps that drive me nuts, I really have no idea what is being comped.

I think they cut the resort fee's in half using your $250 airfare credit. So that was $200 of it.

Guests of Atlantis, The Cove Atlantis, The Reef Atlantis and Harborside Resort are subject to a 18.25% charge on room rate that includes VAT and other taxes and surcharges, the Paradise Island Tourism and Development Association levy, the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board levy and compensation for servicing your reservation.

In addition, guests of Atlantis, The Cove Atlantis and The Reef Atlantis (but not Harborside Resort) will be required to pay a resort fee of $49.95 plus a $3.75 VAT charge per room per night, totaling $53.70 per room per night. The resort fee will include the following services:

So you each had about $40-45 per night on your folio? Wow!
Did Amy have any other charges on her folio that was also on yours?

They just take the $52.xx reosrt fee and divided it up between the 2 folios each day. So around 26.xx
But then you also have the mandatory $5 tip per person per day and then the room revenue fee as well per person per day. See 2 pics for examples.
