Thanks Now I want to make a road trip :distracted: but it will be hard to beat the old Isle Yeah, I knew that slot floor like the back of my hand and now I have to learn it all over again.

I'm hoping that both casinos will open in a honeymoon stage with loose slots for the first few weeks and maybe send out some enticing offers for their old and new clientele. :)

A slot tech at Grand Falls told me they sent all their decent machines to Rhythm City for some reason to the new casino

I hope they are not affiliated with the same company that runs Grand Falls and Riverside but from the look of it they are.

I hope they are not affiliated with the same company that runs Grand Falls and Riverside but from the look of it they are. No connection, owned and operated by the City of Davenport. They got the idea from the very successful Diamond Jo's casino which is owned and operated by the City of Dubuque. :)

They have a Quad City Cruisers car show with many classes and one is a Corvette class, but not sure if there is a Corvette ONLY car show. I think the Quad City Cruiser one is usually around the 4th of July because I use to show my classic cars there until I sold them all.

I'm with you, Laurie. I love that old boat, slow elevator, musty carpets and all! Having walked past the new casino site during construction so many times, it just seems small to me.
goldengreeke I hope there is a nice, long honeymoon phase as well. Have you and Sharon been invited to any Grand Opening events?
