This is awesome! I can never get over how beautiful it is. Too bad you're not going to Kauai ; my son is a cook at The Dolphin restaurant in Hanalei. I'd have him hook you up! So it's not Vegas, but at least you'd get a comped meal!

Yea, that's good! I would imagine the Pacific to be a little rough, but truly had no idea on the water temp that far out. As a child remember hitting the beach first time off the coast of Cali and how cold it was, was shocked after envisioning from the movies it would be like bath water HHH. Saw hi to the penguins, so awesome penguins at the Hyatt in Hawaii...

If you go into Lahaina and stop in the Harte Galleries, ask them where in the hell my artwork is. We purchased this in April and we still haven't received it. The shipping company said posssibly next week.[ATTACH=CONFIG]2041[/ATTACH

Just Maui. But with event and dinners are time has been tight. Golf course was Kapalua.. He said top 5 golf course he has ever played. Battleling the flu or food poisoning the last 18 hours. Attended a wedding yesterday but couldn't make the reception. Hope today is a better. Day.

Yesterday was better.. Ate lunch.. Walked on the beach and attended the closing night dinner where a great musician played along guitar. He is currently traveling with Bad Company and Joe Walsh. We leave to tonight.. But not until 9:30 so will do some more sightseeing today.. Punai I think it may be called. Thank you for your kind words.. If you are going to be sick.. Back from the dr.. She thinks Norwalk Virus. I know a few other people were sick at the resort.. but never thought it would be this. $60 medicine to help with the nausea and water, white grape juice, pedialyte and Gatorade. Lots of hand washing for Keith and Travis... hopefully we are moving in the right direction.

Hope the Meds get you better quick. Being sick on a plane is terrible. A lady threw up on my full flight Tuesday. She went and stayed in the bathroom until landing time. Her seat mates had to sit in the jumper seats most of the 45 min flight. Southwest attendants handled it well.

Thank you! The Lamaze Breathing I learned 26 years ago came in handy when I had to focus on anything besides the nausea. I will say Maui Airport and Seattle airports have very nice bathrooms. Minneapolis bathrooms are GROSS.

Upcountry is anywhere along the slopes of Haleakala. Paia and Twin Falls are kinda on the edge of going upcountry. We love it for Haleakala, the winery that's up there, Makawao (which is a small artsy town) and our farm stands that we frequent. We also got married at a small tropical garden that's upcountry.

Thanks. It was beautiful.. And when we go back on our dime... We have plenty of ideas of what to do and where to stay. All recovered.. Heading out tonight to meet Jokers in Tahoe..
