Ones that you may be checking out during the upcoming M & G?

I am curious to try the new restaurant at Caesars, Searsucker, from Top Chef contestant Brian Malarkey. It's not open yet but due to open March 27, so I will be following the reviews. I was able to get 9:00 reservations for Wednesday night.

https://www.caesars.com/caesars-palace/restaurants/searsucker#.VQsPc_nF_mc

I also want to find a good restaurant at Wynn or Encore for Friday night after the strip stumble ends. Originally I was thinking SW Steakhouse, but not sure we'll want such a heavy meal after drinking all day!

Any suggestions?

Wasn't searsucker a suit or pans that sears sold years ago?

HHH, seersucker (diff spelling) is a cotton fabric. I always think of sailor suits when I hear the word seersucker!

Great thread Blaze...I'll keep an eye on this for more ideas.
So far I have a few that we are trying in April that we haven't been to.
Yardbird @ Venetian/Palazzo- husband loves chicken so thought he'd enjoy this place.
Canaletto @ Venetian/Palazzo- have reservations with a couple friends
Veranda @ Four Seasons- my birthday breakfast

I also want to try the new Bardot Brasserie at Aria. I hear their happy hour is phenomenal, also their brunch. Thinking of making Sunday morning reservations there and surprising my girlfriends with brunch.

Here is the Happy Hour menu - sounds great!

LaCave at Wynn/Encore is really good and reasonably priced! It has small plate items we share :)

Blase I definitely want to try Bardot, because Michael Mina. I loved that space when it was American Fish -- curious what they'll do with it in its new incarnation.

I'm trying out Bardot on April 6th with Mike and Ken. I usually like all of Michael Mina's restaurants.

I'm thinking of trying out Yardbird for a lunch on Tuesday or Wednesday since Gwen liked it so much.

The Croque Madame that Blaze suggested is on the dinner menu. I've eaten these in the past at other restaurants, it's the French version of a yummy ham and cheese sandwich usually with a béchamel sauce with a fried egg on top of it. When there's no fried egg they call it a Croque Monsieur.

I've already planned to try Giada, e@Jaelo, Comme Ca, Tableau, La cave. I want to try Yardbird (never had fried chicken & waffles together), I always get a pastrami @ ZooZacrackers, fried rice and vegetables at Red 8.

CPT if you do order Le Steakburger and it's any good, be sure to report on it in the meaty meat thread! We need a new "apex burger" now that Comme Ça is shutting down.

Blase,
It's hard for me to tear myself away from the casino and "nice" meals are time-consuming LOL

I've stayed at Bellagio quite a few times (again for the M&G) and never made the effort to try something besides the cafe (last year I finally did try LeCirque).
I might try Michael Mina or Picasso this time. I eat where I play to use up food credit.

Oh I know, I've said plenty of times that "I ain't got time to eat" when I'm in Vegas... I call it the Gambling Diet!

Although I do find that when I go with these two girlfriends, as opposed to more die-hard degenerates like my mom, we do stop and smell the roses sometimes and actually eat nice meals, sit in lounges to people watch, etc. I like traveling with these girls because they help me slow down and save me money!!!

We ate at Pub 1842 yesterday. It was yummy. Might do Bardot for Happy Hour or Toms Urban at NYNY. We were going to Heritage Steakhouse tonight. But the Dumb Wisconsin game interferes.

There are so many places I want to try but every time I go to Vegas it's like I'm on a diet because I'm gambling every second and eat maybe once a day! I know, it's ridiculous but that's what happens. When we brought my niece in November for her 21st birthday who is a total foodie we ate out at some delicious places and that was more eating than we've done in probably the last three or four trips combined. What can I say, I'm a gambling degenerate...

Same as me when I'm in Vegas... KC was the worst; I was lucky if I ate one meal a day! Two days the only food we ate was from the Diamond Lounge!

I was quite impressed by the "Wicked Spoon" buffet at Cosmo. It is very gourmet with a huge variety of foods that can fit anyone's taste's. I hope that they never change it.

There are so many Vegas restaurants I've yet to try... One of the old school ones on my list is Casa di Amore. Would be a great place to try as a group. Sadly there was no room to fit this in on my April trip.

I've eaten there about 4 times so far and it's a great restaurant for large groups, they really shine when taking care of large parties. There's also usually a duo or trio entertaining. Gwen, myself and some of our other friends have a favorite server there too, always ask to sit at Brad's table! I'm not sure I would go off strip to eat there if I was with a small party however since there's comparable food at similar prices on the strip but at restaurants that don't excel with large groups of people. Hopefully that makes sense, LOL!

I get it Evoni... I think it's all about the experience when you're with a larger group.

Casa Di Amore must be doing something right to be in business all these years... Sounds like an old school treat.

Been very lucky and have visited lots :) I find that in Vegas, I lose weight, even though I'm drinking a lot and not totally monitoring what I'm eating. I think it's due to two things: (i) walking a ton -- I average 25,000 steps a day in LV; and (ii) I don't snack. Amazing how much licorice and popcorn can add up when you're mindlessly snacking!

Meant to try Giada's and Bardot on my last trip but between having to shuffle dinners based on my friend and coming home early, didn't get to try. Friends did try Bardot for brunch and loved it.

Also want to try Twist, Guy Savoy, Table 10 (based solely on Evoni), Allegro, Picasso, and Carnevino.

We did have the flatbread from the Happy Hour menu, it was delicious. The Prime Steak Tartare is on the Happy Hour menu, and we did have the larger version as we were hungry. We also shared a crock of the French Onion Soup.. OK.. I didn't share very much.. I ate most of it.. it was SO good.

So I have reservations for brunch at Yardbird @ Venetian for Sunday morning. I'm psyched about this place!

Also reservations for Payard @ Caesars on Friday morning pre-pool time. This is a ritual for us girls! I am in love with the lobster benedict and have to get it every trip. Also their lox and bagel plate is pretty fantastic too.

No reservations for dinners as it seems we are pretty busy every night!!

I tend to go to the same places all the time (when I bother to actually eat as opposed to grabbing something on the run), so this thread is great for getting new ideas! I love that we run the Gamut from White Castle to Carnevino and everything in between

I really enjoyed Bardot Brasserie although next time I would like to try brunch I think. Mon Ami Gabi remains my favorite place for breakfast. I wish I had a skinny pancake right now! And I can't step foot in Palazzo without wanting to run right up to Grimaldi's for pizza and salad.

I would love to go to Casa D'Amore and I hope next time we do a M&G we can get a group together for that!

Keep the ideas coming guys!
