So...haven't been to Vegas in a couple years and I am headed back on the 11th of July for a few nights. I'm staying at PH and will probably spend most of my time between PH, Paris, Bellagio and Cosmo. Typically I drink like a beast and rarely try the really good eats so I am looking for suggestions for places I really REALLY should try this trip. My favorite foods: sushi, Italian and Spanish and I absolutely LOVE oysters on the half-shell. Also, I'm game to try any crazy ass drinks that ya'll think is a "must" so hit me with any special signature drinks you all enjoy and where to get them. Only thing I wont do is wear a yard glass around my neck. I've realized on my past trips, the only places I eat are Cabo-Wabo, PBR, Earl of Sandwich, Burgr and Spice Garden Buffet. I need to experience more variety! Any input will be greatly appreciated and I guarantee photos for any of the suggestions I take!

Thanks!

Well we enjoy that Mexican place at PH called YOLO's (yes another Vegas acronym lol). Not a step up from what you've been eating, but not a step down either. Nice place to eat and power drink at the bar during happy hour.

Good luck!

Javier's at Aria is a great Spanish style place. Speedy but they do have some happy hour specials. We really liked D.O.C.G at Cosmopolitan.. It is chef Scott Conant (from food network show chopped) we ate up at the bar and had the lunch menu.. It is advertising send as Italian.. Check out the website.

Jaleo's at Cosmopolitan and Julian Serrano at Aria for Spanish is good.

Javier's at Aria is great for high quality Mexican food.

Italian: Love Sinatra at Encore, D.O.C.G and Scarpetta at Cosmopolitan. Haven't eaten there yet but everyone so far raves about Carbone at Aria.

Have a fun and winning trip!

I'll add that I love the oysters at Sage at Aria with tequila mignonette and Tabasco sorbet. But they've changed the menu to a tasting menu so I don't know if you can just order them anymore. They come six to an order (I think).

Who am I kidding? Ill probably drink all my meals. I just sometimes feel like I miss out on some of the experience by being hammered most of the trip. Keep suggestions coming and hopefully I'll get to try a thing or two new...

Have you had a Verbena at the Cosmo yet? I feel like that's a "must try" signature drink in Vegas, and since it sounds like you're going to be at Cosmo anyway...

Plus I really wanna hear your reactions to the schezuan button!

Pawnshop wishing you a fabulous and winning time in Vegas.

Because you said you liked oysters on the half shell I understand the Oyster Bar at Harrahs is very good. I've not eaten there myself but know others who have really enjoyed this place.

Since it's a CET property and you mentioned you'll be playing at Paris and PH I think you can charge this meal to either your room or TR reward credits.

Not a fancy place and it is a few casinos away from Paris; still just a thought for you :)

Looking forward to hearing about your trip!

If your trip includes being there on a Sunday I would highly recommend the Sterling Brunch at Bally's. At just under a $100 bucks its expensive but well worth it. Unlimited lobster tails, king crab legs, oysters on the half shell, lobster eggs benedict, bloody maries, mimosas, etc, etc, etc. I am sure a big guy like you could get your moneys worth. Best seafood I have ever had in Vegas.

Definitely do Javiers at Aria! Definitely a must do for me every trip, and I live in Texas where we have great Mexican food on every corner. It's THAT good!

I was going to suggest that one but since I haven't been fortunate enough to have one yet, I can't speak from experience. [emoji6]

Julian Serraro at Aria is good for Spanish. I believe it's better than Jaleo. Make sure to get some Eggslut at Cosmo.

What is Chandelier 1.5? Is that a bar? What casino? My curiosity is piqued!

It is the 1.5 level of the multi story Chandelier bar at Cosmopolitan. I think 1.0 is current under renovation, must go up to get the schnoz berries!

It's also the same level where they have the Verbenas (each level has its own drink menu).
