So after my last trip in May I got an email from a "Relationship Manager" at Palazzo. I saved it and thought I would contact him when we decided on our next trip. We have decided to go in December so I sent him an email asking if we could get a comp for 3 nights at the start or end of our trip. He called me about 5 min. after I sent the email and said he could comp us the three nights and said he could do either weekend but the first would be better for him so I took it. He said to go to the invited guest line (I have no idea where that is) and that if my play was about 4 hours per day at an average $2 bet that I would receive better offers in the future.
I am so excited about staying there! It should be really nice around the holidays. So for those of you that have stayed there, is there anything else I should know? Can someone tell me where to park and where is the invited guest line? We rent a car and will be coming from the airpot and I have no idea where to park so that we can get our bags to the bellman. We always park in the garage and I never noticed a valet there. Also, is this relationship manager a host? What is he. I never really had a host and always book my offers on line or call. I really dont care about any F&B or free play and am happy to just have the room. Do I have to pay a resort fee on a comped room?
Thanks for your help, so excited! Any tips would be appreciated.

If you will be using the valet, the entrance is off Las Vegas Boulevard past the front of the Venetian. The invited guests check in is to the left of the regular front desk check in. It has huge letters above it that say invited guests and something else... The relationship manager is not a host. They're similar but can't do as much. The property is amazing and a fantastic selection of slots. The rooms are fantastically comfortable. Never had a bad experience there. With th exception of having to call down three times to have food removed from my room. It stayed there for a day and I was kinda pissed. It was a minor thing. Everytime I go to Vegas that's my home base. Good luck!!!

Nice score
Parking at Palazzo is probably the easiest one out there because the garage is directly below the lobby. There are two ways to get up to the lobby, either the escalator marked Casino or the elevator bank marked front desk. Enter from the Strip and talk to the guard. I always park on the first level and take the elevators.
Invited guests are to the left of the main desk, sometimes I go to the main desk if there's a line. Doesn't make any difference IMO.

I never noticed that there was a place to pull in in the front. I will have to look on Google earth and see where it is. Is it before or after the Walgreens?

If there was an elevator there that would be good. We have always went down to park and I only saw escalators but there would have to be an elevator for handicapped folks.

If I remember correctly, it is after Walgreens. Like right after. Like turn right at that corner/light. I believe. If you're coming from the South end. If North end. Turn left at that same light.

Yep, the turn in is almost directly under the pedestrian walkway.

I had to pay the resort fee on my last comp at Palazzo, I've never had to before and my play stayed the same as always. You CRM should be able to tell you if you email him.
Good idea to check with Casino Credit desk before you check out and see if they can comp off any food charges. Last April they just took it out of my accumulated play credits I had instead of 'comping' it. Kinda irked me.

What a great feeling! You said Palazzo right? I always use the parking entrance that is off of Sands Blvd so you never even have to go on the strip coming from the airport. (Just take Paradise and then go left on Sands.) Park near the Front Desk elevators if you can find a spot there that first day. (It's not marked all that well, but if you look carefully you can find it.). Once you use the car once, it is preferable to park near the casino elevators which are very close to the elevators to the Palazzo rooms. I'm not sure how early you will be arriving, but I almost never have to wait for a room even getting there before noon. So unless you need a Bellman, I would just keep my luggage with me (or leave it in the car) until you check in. Invited Guest check in is to the left of the front desk.
I have a casino relationship manager, and as far as I am concerned he is a host. He is fabulous and very, very quick to respond to requests and always reviews my play on checkout day and comps extras without me asking (as long as he is on duty). Is your guy named Wayne by any chance?
One tip is to check out the area on the second floor near the hotel elevator. Some of my favorite places to grab a bite are right there, including a coffee shop (doesn't get as busy as the one on the first floor), Grimaldi's Pizza (yum), Table 10 & I Love Burgers.
Palazzo is my home away from home, so ask as many questions as you can think of!

Thanks so much. We always park in the garage but we usually go down. When we come up we end up in the middle of the casino. I have never even seen where you check in. We will be getting there early, around 11 am. We love Gramaldi's so much we eat there at least once every trip. We are simple food people. I do want to try Buddy V's Sunday brunch. Have you ever eaten there? And I never noticed a coffee shop there, I will have to look. The Guys name is Aldo. I always have gotten offers for 3 nights but don't get them until 3 months out. When I call they never have all of the days available that I want and they want me to pay for the third one. I have tried many times so it was nice to be able to finally book a room there. I can't wait!

I am also a simple food person, although when I travel with some of my Jokers I have to step it up a bit HHH! ! I am solo on some of my trips, and nothing I like better than grabbing a small pizza to take back to the room, or my personal favorite a bowl of gumbo & a slice of banana cream pie! I generally request a golf course view and I really enjoy just relaxing in the room, especially if there is a good game to watch on TV.
I have been to Buddy V's a few times & I really like it. I did the brunch on one of our ladies trips earlier this year. @clemi (http://jokerswildforum.com/member.php?u=7) took some pictures in this thread starting at Post #179 I think. http://jokerswildforum.com/showthread.php?2216-Fabulous-Floozies-Do-Vegas/page6 They also have a nice Happy Hour menu there in the bar area. Extremely reasonable and quite delicious!
Grand Lux also has a very reasonable happy hour with some pretty tasty appetizer type foods. And last time I was there they were doing a buffet lunch that was not bad at all.
No wonder I hardly ever leave the property once I arrive! I hope your host guy takes good care of you from now on!

Self parking has always been faster than valet at Palazzo. Park at bottom levels and there are spaces near the elevator.
As noted by others, self park entrance is off Sands (street between Palazzo and Wynn).
I have never been charged for resort fees on a comped room and am only Gold tier.
Also try the Table 10 prix fix menu and Cut steakhouse. (@Evoni trip reports have great level of detail)
Rooms are great and it's a nice hotel. Only negative is the service is not up to par compared to Wynn. Do expect to wait a long time to get a drink order from cocktail waitress, valet to retrieve car, room service, etc.
Have fun and good luck.

Just to post a different point of view to this. I have never had to wait longer than maybe 5-6min for a drink at Palazzo or Venetian each time I've stayed there... And as far as room service goes...my personal opinion it's always only taken the same as anywhere else I've ordered room service. I usually got quoted about 45min..and it'd be there in 30-35min. As far as valet goes I wouldn't know about that. My only negative about the hotel is that I had an issue once with getting room service removed from my room once I was done. I had to call three times before someone actually did something about it. Other than that I've never had an issue and I was there last year about 9 times.

So excited for you, staying at Palazzo is one of my favorites. Matter of fact I just booked my next trip there :-)
Hope you have a great time and that you enjoy yourself. I already saw a lot of good recommendations for you. I'm not sure if they will be there during your trip but I really enjoyed seeing Human Nature Jukebox during my last visit. I would recommend it if you are considering any shows.

OK, here's what I do.
You're gonna have to make one LONG walk either way. From the self park to check in at check in, or from the valet to the room elevators at check in, so you pick.
The self park entrance is on Spring Mountain Road. IMHO, the Spring Mountain parking entrance is more convenient to EVERYTHING, rather than having to navigate LV Blvd.
I park on the second floor of the self park garage near the employment office. There is ALWAYS parking on the 2nd floor. Make sure to avoid parking in the "govt. compliance spots.
From there, take the elevators to the casino level. If you exit to your left the elevators to the rooms are "right there" (a short walk). If you are going to the check-in you would turn left and at the intersection, turn right and walk across the entire casino to check in. If you're traveling together but don't need to be "attached at the hip", one person can stay there and guard the luggage while the other person goes to check in, unless you like to walk.
THE LUXURY OPTION
Park at valet and have the bellman take your luggage
Go to the "invited Guest check-in".
Walk across the casino to the elevators
You would only have to do this once, because you can park in the self-park (as above).
Evoni might have another option. I believe that she travels to V/P often (but not stay in Palazzo).

I have had friends use self-parking at V/P but I never have used it so won't offer advice. I think everyone else answered your questions but since I stay there a lot I'll be glad to answer anything other then parking, if you still have any unanswered questions. :)
