Haven't posted here in awhile as gambling as taken a massive backseat this year. I've been doing nothing but studying for two very important exams on Friday that will give me professional certification and aid in my job searching. I'm taking three exams total before I pursue job searching because after many job searches I realized even the basic minimum entry level jobs are asking for here in San Diego, I didn't qualify for. So I needed to do some extra studying and get professionally certified. I'm nervous as hell for my first two exams/first certification on Friday but also really excited. Anyway...

I got this cool offer for Tahoe in August. They're offering me 6 free pulls on a $25 slot machine and I get to keep my winnings OR $100 FP whatever is greater. I'm operating under the assumption I'll get just the $100 as I'm sure they tighten the machine before people play. So there's that plus they are giving me an additional $100fp for that weekend. Then I have a $300 Reel Rewards coupon and spoke to a host and they are willing to honor another $300 fp coupon just this one time. So I'm heading to Tahoe with at least $800fp. I also have an $80 food coupon voucher and the host offered to send a Limo for pick up from Reno as well as air reimbursement. I'm super excited about this since I haven't gotten to go anywhere since last year. I'm only going for Friday and Saturday night so that way I don't have time to lose much. It'll be so great to be back in Tahoe again and to get a little stress out.

I think I may only go with FreePlay just to see if I can do it. It'll be a test for Vegas in Sept. Hoping I win a little or at least walk away with some of that FreePlay as Cash. Thats awesome they let you combine all those offers- that freeplay could keep you going for a while alone even if the $25 machine is a dud. It sounds like though it's one of the regular $25 slots they have there not a promotional machine. I would have a hard time passing that up too.

Thank you Ida. I've never been so scared and nervous to take a test in my life. It would be the start of truly beginning a career once I can pass this. So it is scary.

I also hope Tahoe is in a giving mood for me. Though if I lose, at least I didn't lose my own money and I'm in a beautiful place.

Thank you kdk. I'm really really greatful the host agreed to it. I'm even screen shooting and saving my emails. Though I'm hoping I have no issues with them honoring it when I get there. The hosts there are really horrible at responding back to emails. It took about two weeks just to get an initial answer from her.

I hope it's a standard $25 machine and that they don't pass with the pay percentage to tighten it. I'm excited to do it since I've never played one. Though I plan on trying $200 fp in a $25 Pinball at HL Palazzo in Sept. Just to see if anything could happen.

Thanks sassycat! The $300 extra is from an expired one that ends this month. I'm unbelievably greatful that she said she would honor it. Aside from that, my only complaint with hosts in Tahoe is they take forever to get back to you. I mean, a really long time.

Thanks buddy. Yeah. I'm actually surprised I haven't had the absolute need or desire to go to a casino. I think last year burned me out from them. The awesome thing is that now the anticipation of going in August and September is killing me! I'm ready to be there already.

Yes! I was supposed to try it last year when I was there but it was always the wrong time when we'd go by it. So this time it's happening. We will also be going to the Japanese Garden and this awesome BArcade called Ground Kontrol. Excited about it.
