Here is a really good hint on how to hit a jackpot if you really want to get one even if its small and you can bet minimum bet and still hit a jackpot over $1,200. I do not know what your bet level is, but you can look around at any slot bank that is attached to a progressive and see what the jackpots are at for each jackpot prize. Some have mini, majors, and maxis, some also have megas and grands. You have to find out what the jackpots start out at (jackpots have a certain start once they have been hit) and see what they are currently at to determine what kind of chance you have at hitting a jackpot. They can even hit low even at its start (I have seen back to back maxis many of times). However, the higher the jackpot, the better chance of hitting and the more you can win. The best type of jackpot games to play are multiplayer progessive ones. The more players playing, the faster the jackpot number goes up and the better chance of winning too. Also the more games there are on the bank, the more hopping around it you can do and the better chance of finding a good base-game paying game where you can stay on and have a good time. This is what I do. If base game do not pay, I get up and get on another one within the bank. My favorite is Titan 360 and hopping works well except when other people start getting on and I have to stop hopping and stick to a machine or go somewhere else, which happens a lot with the loudness of the wheel getting attention of the people in the casino wanting to sit down and join the fun with me after watching me play and hop around. Every time I have tried to do this, the bank ends up filling up, which is a good thing for konami but not for me :p. :).

Whatever you decide to do, do not play to try and hit a jackpot. Play for the base-game and the jackpot will come. That is how I won so many jackpots on Titan 360, simply by doing what I just said. :). I have also missed a lot too due to the bank getting full and unable to hop around anymore or being able to get back on. I have even gotten off one and someone else getting on and hitting the jackpot. I do not like staying on a particular game when a base-game is just money hungry with no bonuses and no wheels for jackpot chance. It is all luck and about being on the right machine at the right time no matter what technique you use. Some stay on and get lucky at the end, some lose everything, some win like crazy, and some go even. and last but not least, some have hit the big one within 1 or 2 spins of getting on. I have once and its in my avatar when I was winning a lot from hopping around and won enough where I started to max bet. Minimum bet is 50 cents and max bet is 5 dollars (on 2 cent machine, minimum is a dollar, max is 5)..all multiplies base on your bet level. Whatever you decide to do, play smart.

Make it count though, you don't need some $1205 jackpot just so you have to get the tax man involved! I considered my (2) $1k lottery wins in six days my jackpot, and yet I'll still be paying taxes on it.

JR, me and Allen are right there with you. Our first of probably 20 trips to Vegas was in 2003. Along with 2 trips to AC, 2 to KC, and numerous to Cherokee have yet to produce a handy for either of us. Allen's biggest hit was for a little over $1,100 on Money Storm at MGM Grand several years ago, and my biggest win was for $817 on Stampede at Caesars last year. I just believe some people are not meant to get a handy. And I must fall into that category. [emoji20] Hell, deep down inside I think maybe I don't want to deal with the tax piece of it! You'll get one soon. I remember I never had one and was trying for years. I stated a thread like this on the old forum and I got one a week later. Then another a month after that, must have been way overdue.
I have had 8 now, all have been winning progressives for me on bets around $1 with the exception of hitting a royal once on dollars. Good luck !

hope ya get one this time Jr ...Between Donna and me we've gotten Five hp's at Coushatta ..ya just gotta come up with a strategy that works for you . we stay out of the busy areas during the day time and ether come back to that area in the evening or early morning witch ever is less busy. Mornings can be quite productive if ya get a little run going .HHH

When it happens it will really catch you off guard. I've had 11 HPs in 22 years but 9 of them since 2009.
Seems easier on video games but only if you can bet at least 3 times the minimum. Reels are tougher cause you have to invest more bankroll & time.
Your first HP will probably involve some sort of progressive jackpot the way the current machines are designed. Sort of like losing your virginity you never forget the first time. HHH
