Bluesfan August Vegas Trip countdown!

Hi All,
I am so excited - I will be going to Vegas next week! Wahoo!
We are going out on Thursday 8/11 and staying for 2 nights at Hotel 32 - top floor of Monte Carlo! My offer includes the comped loft, roundtrip Limo from/to airport, $500 freeplay and $300 Resort credit.

Goal for this trip is to hit the Platinum level - so exclusive Mlife play, and hopefully get some jackpots!
With only two nights we will eat at two of our favorites - Fixx and Gallaghers Steak House.

Mlife is also doing the summer block party again so every 500 points earned gets you one chance to win Freeplay! The minimum is $5 that you can win. We have done this one before and gotten some $25 and $100 wins so hopefully we will have success this year as well!

This is a much needed trip after my surgery, and I am so looking forward to this!
I know Elf will be out in Vegas during this time frame, if any one else is let us know - we can do a Mini Meet!

I have about 22k tier credits to get for platinum so had been planning on going hard at Bellagio one day on my trip to generate some offers (don't currently get any from B) and get the remaining tier credits ... but I may have to switch my play to MC or NYNY to take advantage of this promo. I'll have to weigh the two options :)

No problem, I can say I didn't care much for B when I stayed there. My host was tight with comps, and I knew my play would have had all food comped if I stayed at NYNY or Monte Carlo. I could not get VIP lounge check in or limo at Bellagio, but Monte Carlo offers both as does NYNY. That is why I moved back to Monte Carlo! And for points, stay away from specialty games!

Ugh, so I have not been MIA intended. I was at work on Thursday and started to feel really off. I got extremely dizzy, could barely lift my head, and the back of my head really hurt. I tried to tough it out, and finally told my co-workers to call 911. Off to the hospital I went, and they were concerned I either was having a stroke or possibly threw a blood clot, or it could be brain mets from the breast cancer I fought in 2010. I had a CT scan and Brain MRI and neither showed anything. They keep moving my head all over, and my eyes were jumping all over the place - based on the clean scans they determined I was struck with a severe case of vertigo! Officially called benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. I was in the hospital overnight because I could not walk straight. I was released Friday night and spent all weekend resting and reading up on this condition. I was given some exercises to do to try and get the crystal in my ear to move so that this vertigo would stop. I would say I am on the road to recovery, and will make my Vegas trip! There is no risk of vertigo being triggered by flying, I already asked! I was back at work today and did ok, still a bit dizzy when I move my head a certain way, but no where near what happened last week. I see my Doctor on Wednesday, day before I leave, for next steps on what to do.

And for those who are wondering, no, I do not drink, so I don't have to worry about that on this trip, all I will drink is water!

So, I am going!!!! Yeah - only 3 more sleeps! YEAH!!!!

Bluesfan that is very scary. Glad it's only vertigo as opposed to those other things you listed but my mom suffers from it and it can knock her out.

Just be careful please while you're there :)

I had an appt with my doctor today, and she sees no problem with me going on this trip as I am doing much better!
