$480 my money plus $400 Freeplay = $880

The major or grand would be beautiful. At this point I have never been able to get the pot to close. Mini is $1k worse case is I can get my money back with the mini.

I'm assuming that while your bankroll is 10 spins on this that you will do additional spins at this level with minor winnings? If the pot hasn't opened by 21 or 22 spins I would give it up at this level and start going down, but if you can work your initial bankroll to finance that with non handpay wins I'd keep going. For me thinking about this it's the potential for handpays that's complicating my thoughts on this because at this bet level, a win at 14x bet is a handpay, which means the machine freezes and you gotta stop for paperwork. While I know that the RNG is constantly moving at a breakneck speed I still feel in practice that machines get hot and the whole handpay process sometimes slows that down.
I would also say that if you're planning to play this machine beyond this experiment at $88, with other money in your bankroll, I would do it after this. I've bailed my ass out on these many a time by continuing to play at lower bets when I've lost at higher bets. I say other bankroll because my experience usually is that it takes up to 2x freeplay to get things moving. I have played these machines many times on previous trips but usually only betting $18 consistently which only made me eligible for the mini. But I have never been able to get the pot to close. I have randomly played $88 for a spin or 2 but never 10 in a row. I have had back to back handpays playing at the $18 level. I think the minimum for all progressives is $68.

My ideal outcome would be to get a bonus and for the pot to close during the bonus.

I've only seen the 88 Fortunes so far reserved once at Palazzo HL room so it might be free, however it's just as well regarding Palazzo HL room if you don't try recording 88 Fortunes at that location because the Slot Manager there if he spots you recording will tell his slot attendants to watch out for you.

At Venetian the slot attendants especially the men have been very nice and ignored my recording. I think they want to make sure they get a tip if I hit a hand pay. However I think it's the eye in the sky that has caught me the last few trips because a woman employee that isn't even working the HL room comes out of nowhere and politely asks me to stop, which of course I do at that time. This has happened the last 3 trips and I think they send someone not from the HL room because that way I'm not upset with the employees working in HL. i think you will be fine and likely not get caught because you won't be recording for a long period of time and won't have friends with you that draws the attention of the security cameras. Yep, I wish what the slot attendant had told Jason was correct. I have several vids lately where you can hear them tell me to stop recording at Palazzo and Venetian, though of course I just take a break and then start up again, but it is discouraging and one of the reasons I've been staying at Cosmo more this year since they let us record and encourage us to share it on social media. Aria also lets us record and a lot of strip properties just ignore it with the exception of Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo. One of my friends who works at Palazzo has gone to the slot director at Venetian/Palazzo to try to convince them their ideas are outdated but unfortuantely this policy is currently coming from exec's who are in their 80's.
