So a quick little tidbit that Brian and I learned from our trip. ALWAYS ALWAYS check the promotions kiosk every single day of your stay to see if they're doing anything. We spent the entire Sunday gambling and went to get a food voucher printed for Brian right before dinner. Turns out they had a, 5x reward credit multiplier for all of Sunday. There was no signage whatsoever for this promotion. Nothing in our online accounts about it and no mailer regarding it. So we lost out on a whole day of play with a 5x because the properties did not notify their players.

Just a heads up for future Tahoe Travellers.

Whenever we visit a CET property like Cherokee and KC, the first thing we do is swipe our card at the kiosk. We have been surprised with some promotions that we were not aware of.

Thanks Rob! I knew there was a Thursday multiplier from the website but it didn't say anything about Sunday.
I will definitely start swiping my card each day.

It seems like a piss poor way to treat your loyal players if you ask me. It was a weird August Sunday multiplier but they also had a Monopoly themed "Crack the Code" type game where you could win $500k if you guessed all 8 digits correctly.

The kiosks were weird. One night it said Brian had a good voucher which we said we'd use the following night. So he didn't print it. Mind you the dates said 8/1-8/30. We went the next day, the food voucher wasn't there anymore. But the offer online showed it as valid. Luckily we didn't need it. But still.

Yeah. Thursdays multiplier is the best because if I'm not mistaken, it's 15x! Though when I was there for the meet and greet last year it was a shell picking game and I ended up with 25x that whole day. Kind of surprising the events they do and don't tell anyone about. It at least made me a little bit wiser in regards to their promotional process.

Not advertising the multipliers is common practice at many CET locations.

At the total rewards desk at the Horseshoe in Hammond, the gals tell me to always scan my card in the kiosk before playing. They say they don't put up signs anymore because many times the multiplier is just for Diamond and above and confuses or pisses off the lower card holders if there are promotion signs.

Doesn't that just seem ridiculous. It seems to me, if anything these properties should be catering to their Diamond and above. Those card holders are the ones to actually spend money in your casino time and time again. You'd want to treat them the best possible way including making sure they know what promotions are going on and on what days. Harrah's Resort Southern California is VERY good about their multiplier marketing. They put it in their general mailer and then they mail a special one out every month on top of signs everywhere in the casino.

I found something like this at Harrah's in Reno too. Not only that, but there are two different sets of kiosks in two different areas. The ones in the promotions areas opt you in for multipliers. The others by the cashier are where you get your freeplay offers printed. The employees were nice enough to help me there, but I'm sure a lot of players would miss out.

It seems with CET losing money consistently...they're doing what they can in certain markets to deceive players so that they can get your money. They don't care about loyalty. They don't care about treating their players well. They just care about making that buck and moving on.

At least Sands Corp comps you shit before they screw you.

Good advice! My favorite was IP Biloxi before it was bought by Boyd Gaming. My trips always led me there on their Tuesday multipliers. Always took advantage. Even with CET back then (HET) at that time, they advertised heavily. Seems now everything is low key to keep guests uninformed. Esp CET since its money woes and converting RC to FP....makes its harder so they save money?
