Ok so they weren't legally missing. But they are sneaky. So 3 weeks ago my mom decides to buy her a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I joked that they need to give it a drive to harrahs Cherokee. They were like nah, not going to give them our money. Well last week I was at their house and my mom goes to the bank and comes home with 5k cash. She said she was gonna win some millions. Since she dismissed harrahs Cherokee, I thought she was going to play a lot of lottery.

Anyways fast forward to Wednesday and my brother told me my dad went to the bank and got him 5k as well and they had left not saying anything. So us brothers had a pretty good idea what they were up to. Now they have a cell phone and we coulda called them anytime but we just let them be. I figured they would be ok. They have a cell and each carry so I trust them.

Well just 10 min ago my dad calls. Just as suspected. They road tripped to Vegas. They got there yesterday evening. All I could do is LOL and say yea figured so. Now just wish they would have taken me!

They live an hour north of Atlanta so took them 4 days. But they took their time and enjoyed things along the way. I think this is the 5th time they made this trip. Hey they are retired more power right haha!

Bill and I make the drive from Chicago via Sacramento (to visit our son) then down to Vegas and back home. We have made the drive 3 times now. I love to drive and flying is a hard option. We too take our time. I wish them luck! Being retired can be great.

Thanks for the good lucks all! They had a pretty good night last night. They were both up and down but when they returned to the room my dad found the he is up $15 lol. His best hit was 2 double diamonds and double bar for $400ish. My mom was up too and she hit something close to $200 on willy wonka. She doesn't know what she did bc that's her first time playing that game.

They havnt called me tonight yet but if they do I'll
Ask them to try and take pics of good hits. I do know they were planning on hitting up Wynn and VP tonight. I'll let you all know how things are going as soon as I find out.

Thanks!!

Ok so quick update. They only made it to the Venetian last night. On their way to vp and Wynn my dad decided to stop in Outback Steakhouse. I was like really mom?! You have an outback at home, I coulda recommended a better streak restaurant! They made it to vp and played and didn't hit anything there just lost. When they came out they decided it was too late to make the right turn to go to the Wynn so they headed back to harrahs. They lost more at harrahs and are down. They said only few hundred each but I don't believe them lol. I'm sure they lost more than that and my dad said he expects to lose some he comes to play for fun. So they did get a good nights rest. Surprising bc usually my dad will stay half the night playing.

Today when I talked to them they were at Walmart bc my dad ran out of clothes. He thought my mom packed his other stack of clothes he had ready bc his suitcase was closed. He just assumed and ended up leaving them on the dresser at home. So they were just chilling and planning a night a Fremont tonight. Hopefully they can win some back there. Idk maybe they aren't down that much bc mom said they may stay another 2 days.

I told them about my post on here and they both laughed and glad that you all are following along. They will try snap some pics on big wins if they remember to and will be glad to share. They also thanked all of you for the well wishes!

I will also respond to the comments soon. Thanks for posting them!

HHH! I forgot to pack all of my shirts once for an 8 night trip to Vegas. Had to change flights in Memphis and found a PGA store that had a half price sale and loaded up. Glad they didn't get kidnapped! :-)

Hey everybody! I didn't get a chance to post yesterday bc of Internet mishap. All fixed now but neighbor kids were playin hide and seek in the bushes beside my house and ended up accidentally pulling my cable out of its fixture.

My parents were heading back home last night. They wanted to leave bc of the crazies that might be out protesting the debate tonight. So Monday night they were playing at harrahs and lost track of time to go to Fremont. It was kind of good and bad they lost track. It was good bc they were winning pretty decent hits but bad at the same time bc they ended up putting it all back in the machines. They are normally a mechanical reels player but they tried everything they could to see all these newer games. The only specific machine my dad remembered for wins on Monday was the $1 WOF. Twice he hit 2x 2x red 7. So it was easy to see why they didn't want to interrupt a winning session.

So for yesterday they did visit the Eiffel Tower and had their picture taken. they did hit up Fremont for a couple of hours and then headed out. They were tryin to stay longer so they could hit all of the casinos on Fremont but my mom wasn't feeling well. I found out they had to stop somewhere in Arizona on Saturday before Vegas to find her a urgent care. Her sinus started giving issues so they gave her a shot and antibiotics.

They had a really good time and enjoyed themselves. Dad said he lost about $1200 for four days so he was pretty happy that he got a lot of play without depleting his entire BR. Not sure about my mom. She is super sneaky. I've seen her hit $300 once and cover it up only to buy us something and then laugh about where the money came from. But I do know she had to spend some money bc I have access to both of their tr accounts.

They are also going to stop in any casino they pass along the way back so maybe I'll have something else to report. And my mom said even tho she didn't win her millions, thanks again to the jokers for following along!

My parents won't fly! When dad was in the Army, he flew all over the world. He says he was young and didn't mind. He says it wouldn't bother him if he had to now but prefers the enjoyment of actually being able to stop in places he hasn't ever seen. Mom took a small plane ride at 17. Her friend had a pilots license and he took a few girls up. He showed out and scared the living crap out of all of them and my mom said if she ever walks on the ground again she will never get in another plane ever. LOL

She played it several more times during the trip. She likes it a lot. Usually she plays the mechanical reels but Wonka caught her attention this time for some reason.

They did two in New Mexico. Only spent a few hours but didn't win anything. I can't remember the names, they didn't sound like a CET or MGM brand. Im thinking they will stop over in Oklahoma for some too but I haven't' heard from them today.

They did have a great time. They are very random with long trips. Say like 6 months or a year goes by and they are like....hey gotta go bye! Its not uncommon to find them alternating between Vegas, Tunica, Biloxi, and Atlantic City.

Now they do Harrahs Cherokee more often, say almost once month. Its a few hours closer to them than the others. And of course when they do Cherokee, they stop at the new Cherokee Valley first.
