Hope we don't have any Jokers at Paris LV tonight. They have had a power outage since 9:30 a.m. Power has been off for 10 hours and won't be restored tonight. What a mess, can't imagine what they are going through. http://www.ktnv.com/news/power-outage-reported-at-paris-las-vegas

I had a power outage at Harvey's Lake Tahoe a few years back, it only lasted a short time but I was playing a machine had had a fair amount of money in it. It was restored within an hour and my credits were still there. These people can't get into their rooms for their meds or anything they may need.

People that need meds or essentials are being escorted to room. But what if you're on a high floor?
What happens if you had credits on machine.?
All restaurants would be closed indefinitely. Food would have to be thrown out.

I saw someone mention they were taking down your machine # and your phone number, but that should be a mess to attempt to get your money back.

So what if you were flying out, they would have to ship your stuff back....had that happen once when Palace Station put my luggage on a shuttle by mistake, they did not find it until after I left

Wow, the backup generators failed? My guess is someone is jobless today...

Apparently the lines that were cut powered both the hotel and generators.

Latest news show the power has been restored. I have been watching this pretty closely since I have a reso for Paris Monday thru Thursday. Hope all is back to normal by then. I really feel for the ones affected by this.

We walked over earlier to Paris and everything was back to normal. Full of people and live bands playing and all. It will be fine. Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Wonder if they took the gordon Ramsey steaks to ballys or planet ho. If someone thought of it quick seems they would be good. There would have been ice at first too.

One would hope so I am sure freezers could hold temp 24 hrs but prob. Not fridges

freezers normally if kept closed lose about 1 degree per hour.

At -25 to -30 it should be safe.
