Up until about 5 years ago, we could fly Round Trip out of Moline to Vegas on Allegiant for $79 a person and No hidden charges. Now it's about $300.00 or higher each!

So happy we know have Frontier out of Columbus. Love SW, but paying 3-4 hundy on SW isn't gonna get it with me! The Happy hour pkg on Frontier is great!

I hope for your sake it is a huge success so that they end up having daily service.

At least this gives us the option of leaving on Friday and not having to wait until 9 p.m. departure on a quick whim of a trip to Vegas as if we come home Sunday that really makes it a short trip also very nice not to have any connections in between two-and-a-half-hour direct flight

Haha funny thing is the Hard Rock Sioux City had emailed me yesterday with the survey and the main question was why haven't you been in the last 30 days well the funny thing is I actually haven't been there since November I really laid into them on the comments about how the locals have such a shity comp and for how much I'm willing to lose at the local per trip it just does not make sense to play at them very often. Can get a plane ticket to Vegas for that much.

I even gave them some comments about how Mystic Lake is a little bit father of a drive for me then hardrocksiouxcity but at least I can get rooms on the weekends there and good amount of free play in food credit or I have never been offered that at Sioux City besides week night free rooms which doesn't cut it for me. Also $10-20 weekly FP is lame as hell.

Told them lack of HL games too sucks ass and maybe if they had some decent selection on that would visit more often.
I also bitched at them about how I view the monthly Iowa gaming commission report and how it seems the northwest Iowa casinos including the Council Bluff casinos are always bottom-of-the-barrel for payback selection they need to quit being so greedy and loosen up the slots a little bit as they are always low as hell month after month.

I look forward to their reply. If I get one at all.

I've flown Allegiant and Frontier and the good news is that ticket prices are almost certainly going to go down as a result of this. If you've never been on Frontier before, though, brace yourself. While the planes are "newish", which helps a lot over those decrepit MD80's that Allegiant flies, the seats on Frontier are legendary uncomfortable for anything but the shortest of flights. One thing you will immediately notice is the "half trays" -- literally seat back trays that have been cut to half of their regular size so that the seats can be put even closer together. The seat cushioning is also compacted/non-existent for the same reason. The upgrade package to the exit row seats is definitely worth the cost. Overall, though, definitely worth the comfort sacrifice if the destination is Vegas.

Oh yeah flew em a few times. They definitely are the new era of crappy seats but that seems standard on alot of new planes for the standard seats.

Definitely hard to fit 2 drinks on those damn things on the Denver to Las flight leg for sure.
