I have a local CET property (Harrah's) That I stay at once a week because it's 10x points and I love to collect those reward credits! So I drag my partner with me since we live about 45 min from the casino and the roads are super dark at night.

Yeah it's kind of amazing! I went from being a Plantinum member for two years to FINALLY make Diamond this year. I've also managed to accumulate $1200 in RCs which will help pay for my Tahoe and Vegas trips this year! I'm actually at my local right now. 15x points tomorrow! I only wish they had a MGM tribe casino out here in the horrible instance CET goes down in flames. :/ CET properties and TR has been a staple in my family for as long as I can remember so I'm hoping for the best for them.

Alright just got back to my room at my Local. Did terribly...however, I did have fun today. So it wasn't a total loss. Though with the exception of a few occasions. I can honestly say, even when I do lose, I'm still enjoying myself. I only wish our alcohol was comped here. I could be having a little bit more fun.

zeus Oddly, watching certain people's live play slot videos on YouTube have calmed me drastically when it comes to losses. I know it sounds terrible to say, but its a comfort when you see that there are indeed people that lose as often as you do. It's hard to think that way when you're in the casino and you hear jackpots or bonuses hitting left and right. I used to have severe anger issues towards machines. Not smacking them or anything. I'd just get frustrated. Lately, I just laugh it off and think better luck next time!

I'm at Harrah's "Rincon" all month (well only tues-fri) with the exception of my Disneyworld trip in two weeks. They're unbelievably amazing. Though their regular rooms, can't compete with Pechanga's rooms. I love their rooms so much. Everything about them is appealing. The beds are so comfortable! I wanna inevitably try their spa suites they have advertised online.

twinslotaddicts Sounds like a great plan! I will always call that place the Wild Animal Park. Just like Del Mar Fair will never be San Diego County Fair! True San Diegans know that. :) Last time I was at the park I almost died. We walked everywhere and my out of shape body could not handle that. I will be here next tuesday as well I think? Do you know if there are shuttles from harrahs to valley view if they are about 4 miles apart from each other and what there is to do around there? I have never been there, but got a surprising offer in the mail for 3 free nights, $30 dinner, and $60 free play (can use the free play without using the free nights on the dates my offer says). 3 nights will be worth it if there are shuttles to valley view and things to do walking distance, but I would only probably want to do 1 night and not 3 because its not vegas. There are free buses by my house that can take me to harrahs.

camon There are not free shuttles to Valley View from Harrah's in fact, if you don't have a car, there really isn't anything to do here unless you like sitting by the pool. (Which is gorgeous by the way.) It has a lazy river or and adult only pool with a swim up bar. Etc...basically the equivalent of a vegas day club. Because it's nestled in a valley with only farm land and one road running through it. The only thing you can do is maybe take a bus to harrahs and take the harrahs shuttle to one of their transit stops (way passed valley view) then take the valley view shuttle to valley view. The transportation out here is so convoluted if you don't have a car. You could maybe get a taxi or something? I've never looked into it...If you dont want to be stuck at a casino for three days in the same casino, I'd say you wont enjoy it. I'm perfectly fine gambling or relaxing in my room, but a lot of people aren't like that and get stir crazy. Hope that helped?

I will say after awhile they get boring. Plus, no free drinks so that also doesnt help. I go to harrah's ot here cuz I earn stuff for vegas. thats the only reason. otherwise its too far from my house. Ive never been to WeHo. Friends have. To be honest I've never really even explored Hollywood.
