No Diamond

Gotta agree with you. I don't see how they have lasted this long with so much debt. Their lawyers keep on playing games moving parts to different holding companies. The judges are getting tired of it. Something will break soon.

AS for the demotion....I did not get to play much last year. I got laid off work, so I don't have the disposable income any more. I've just played on some free play the last couple of times I got to go. Hoping to get a job soon! I miss the casinos a lot.

Maybe you will be able to make Diamond in a Day this year. I have been Diamond for several years but rarely use the benefits. When I go to Vegas, I take advantage of the two free show tickets and use the diamond lines for buffets. I have never used the celebration dinner and only recently found out about it.

I just read your "location" and figured out who you are!! I did get enough credits to get to platinum. I couldn't believe it!

I'm hoping after they declared bankrupcy in January (Which to be honest, I havent' really noticed much of a difference anywhere I go) they started restructuring. I'd like to have some hope they'll bounce back because being a TR member has been in my family since before I was born. Though this next trip to Vegas, I think I'm going to start working on my MLife Tier while staying at a CET property! Don't tell them.

That sounds like me. I used my celebration dinner for the first time last year. I rarely even use my casino hosts. No way for Diamond in a Day!!! I have got 5000 a few times, but that is really hard to do for me.

Did you earn anything for the 50% winter tier bonus promotion they were doing? That took me from regular Diamond to Aspirations 1. Maybe you actually achieved Diamond, if you earned 10k from January to last night you still have a shot. Granted I know Platinum takes only 5k but I'm not assuming the bare minimum was all you got. I'm thinking positively here for you!

Same here. If I want to earn comps for Vegas, the only option I have is Harrah's. Which I dont mind. I too loved Aria when I was there last. I wasn't a fan of Cosmo though. That place took $500 from me in less than an hour...and I wasn't even betting near max. It left a hugely bad taste in my mouth. However, I can't deny they seem to have very desirable views for rooms! Bellagio was by far one of the more fun casinos I've ever been in. As stuffy as the casino looks (snobbish etc...) the floor was enjoyable to be on. I want to stay there some day over looking the fountain.

Thanks, Ang. Not really a big deal for Vegas. I am still getting free room offers plus more. It is a big deal for my local. If you are not diamond, it's really hard to get a room. 7Stars are everywhere at Cherokee. Not looking good for a Vegas trip this year.
