April 7th a new (small) casino cruise ship moved to Galveston. It's only $15 for a 6 hour cruise. They have slots and table games and food and drink. It's looks like fun to us. After all $15 for a cruise in the bay is a great deal even without gambling! They do day and evening cruises. When the ship gets out 9.1 miles the fun begins!
They hit a buoy marker the other day so it's getting fixed but it was just cosmetic so it will be back soon. I hope the pilot gets some new glasses!
We are going to try it out real soon so I will report back.
Check it out.

charlie50 I think I read that it is the boat that was in Port Aransas. I never saw the bigger one.
owls I think we will be long gone before we get real casinos in Texas.
But I think it will be a fun way to spend a few hours on the bay for $15

It must of been some thing else then . it looked as if they were prepping it for paint on parts of it .

I think it looks like fun! A nice price for being out on the water with a bit of gambling thrown in. I would do it, but it's a helluva drive from New Hampshire :)
They have one out of Port Canaveral in Florida. Thelma has been on it and had a really nice time.
