I'm just curious to know what tier level each of you slotters is at and at what properties in vegas/or wherever? :)
CET: Diamond
Mlife: Sapphire
Cosmo: Sterling (is that their lowest?)
Local ones: Don't think you care about those.

Yay! Another CET Diamond member. I was beginning to think people have given up on those properties! Haha. How exactly does the relationship with Hyatt work with MGM. Do you get a certain tier level at Mlife for signing up for a card or....? I'm new. :-p Also based on the time of your post, it's nice to see I'm not the only night owl here!

Hyatt and MGM announced a reciprocal relationship I think in 2013. If you're Platinum with Hyatt you get matched to Pearl and if you're Diamond you get matched to Gold. It's a really simple process to status match too. I'll find a blog post about it tomorrow, er, later today!

If I can acquire it by just getting a credit card, I'll do that! If I actually have to accumulate points by staying at Hyatt, then I will have to pass and work at my tier the hard way. :-p I acquired platinum the regular way with CET then lost it but they offered a guaranteed Platinum level when you apply and receive their credit card. So I did that. I kind of cheated, I use my TR Card when I'm at the resorts, but other than that. It sees no action. It was just a quick way for me to gain a tier. Haha. Is that cheating?

Another CET Diamond here other than that we are the top level at our Iowa local. CET properties are where we want to travel. I only make Vegas once a year.

CET - Platinum
Mlife - bottom
Grazie - Gold
Grazie is the only status I'm interested in maintaining. Comped rooms at Palazzo and entrance into the gold lounge are at the very top of DW list.
Slowing down on CET until they're out of bankruptcy.

Laurie. CET has been in my family for ages. I can't see myself wanting to be anywhere else. I've managed to get to Diamond because I don't spread my money around. However I'm going to change that these coming trips in the horrific event CET burns. I want a high standing at MLife. They have beautiful properties and I throughly enjoy being in them. There are other casinos I want to play at but it's difficult when I know I could be earning more if I don't spread the BR around. I've never been to Encore. WYNN. PALAZZO. I've been to the venetian but not to gamble (was too young then). Ti I was too young the last time I was there. Never been to Mirage. Last time I was at Trop I was too young as well. So it'd be nice to visit those. Again just difficult to get out of the mind set. Luckily Mirage is on MLife.

Mlife - Platinum (Bellagio/MGM Grand)
Grazie - Gold (Palazzo)
Rampart/Stations - lowest level though I'm very well looked after at Rampart.
The tier levels don't do anything for me except @ Mlife, they have separate lines at the cafes & buffets for Platinum and above. Points accrue faster at higher levels with Mlife and Grazie.
My PLAY is what generates my offers.

treyster but cutting back though, isn't that going to make their recovery slower if everyone was in that mindset and stopped going or didn't go as often as they did? How easy is it to move up Grazie? It seems a lot of Forum users like gratzie! So it'd be cool to check it out. I was planning on visiting those two properties because Evoni had videos of one of my all time favorite slot machines when I was younger. (assuming its still there) but i love the Top Gun machine.

Hey Rob,
Welcome aboard BTW. We spent a portion of 3 trips last year at CET Vegas and got creamed like never before. Couple that with their $$$ problems and I'm a little spooked. We've branched off-Strip in the last few years and don't really need CET much anymore.
Palazzo is our Strip home. Grazie gold is easy to get, just need 20K points in a year. They have a slot point system that isn't easy to understand but racks up fast enough. I like the gold lounge at Venetian, only time we got into the lounge at Palazzo was with Diana lol.
Wynn doesn't have card levels per se, just red. They're good about sending email offers but takes more coin-in to retain comped romms than V/P

Wynn-LOL who knows-
CET-Platinum-only via their credit card the tiers above though are strictly due to gambling.

Wynn doesn't have public tiers with perks, it's strictly marketing offers and host offers with them. Because there is no transparency on what you need for perks like their VIP room, limos, etc…one really needs a host at Wynn one can trust and maintain a relationship with.
Currently I like the Grazie program with Venetian/Palazzo the best because they are the only strip property that has their VIP rooms open 24 hours a day with snacks and drinks and Gold level is not hard to maintain for most gamblers, IMO. They also give free shuttle service to and from the airport for their gold card members and for us platinum level it's limo service. M-Life for example does this at NOIR level with them as far as VIP room and limo (their VIP rooms though seldom have food and close around midnight) and while we know how many tier points it takes to reach Platinum level with Grazie we don't know for sure with M-Life what it takes to become NOIR as that is by invitation only. I was NOIR for a couple years with M-Life back when it was a million points and wasn't invite only, LOL, these days I'm happy with Platinum there.

CET - platinum because I took out the Total Rewards Visa and pretty much charge everything to it - gas, groceries etc. etc. pay it off each month and rack up the RCs...
Argosy/Hollywood Marquee Rewards "Celebrity" which is only second run from the bottom (there are five tiers which is weird) and being a Celebrity is pretty much good for nothing LOL...okay, in plain English Marquee Rewards sucks...

My local is Hollywood, I'm celebrity too. Occasionally use points for an extra buffet when I run out of coupons. Thinking about staying at M for two nights next month, rewards work there.

I've never stayed at the M but when I drive in to Vegas I make a stop there as a ritual. Maybe for an hour or two before I head to the strip. I actually like their casino. It's nice and it's not crowded by the annoying frat boy/slut girl drunk on the strip types(at least not when I've been there) I'm also not really a fan of Marquee Rewards...

Cosmopolitan: Platinum, and boy is it a lot of work. May not bother for 2015, because the benefits vs. Gold are not overwhelming.
CET: Diamond, but only as a perk of FoundersCard (a membership organization for business founders/CEOs/entrepreneurs).
M Life: Pearl, may get back up to Gold this year. Or not. Yawn.
Grazie: Cut up my card years ago and asked them to remove me from their promo lists. :)
Wynn Red Card: Black Hole level -- I put money in the slots, nothing comes out!

Do you have a favorite player's card boots? and HAHA at the Wynn Card. I was trying to decide when I go in July between Red Card or Grazie cuz I love the perks I've read some of the Joker's getting. Why the dislike of them? Thanks for the heads up about Identity. I won't bend over backwards trying to reach Platinum then if Gold is just as good.

Mlife - Platinum. If I go back to Vegas before 10/1, probably won't stay at an MGM place but will try to get the last 10k points to maintain my platinum status. I like the bonus percentages on points and express comps.
Cosmo - second lowest level. I haven't played much there since I obtained it (my last trip was cut short) so haven't taken advantage of the point multiplier.
CET & V/P -- lowest level. Don't play much at either's casinos.
I know you said no locals but ... black label at Borgata and it's the one I take advantage of the most. Like the line pass and entrance to their smaller buffet.

DK528 Borgata is a fine local to mention. I've only played there once when I was visiting my best friend... And even though I lost I still had fun. Plus they're good with their comps. Haven't played in over six months there and they're still offering me decent free play and comped suites. I wish I could go much more often. That casino is amazing. My best friends band plays there often in one of the bars.

Grazie- Gold (high level gold and almost made platinum last year) My host really takes care of me there. Always access to Platinum lounge, VIP check in, tickets to any show.
Wynn- Who really knows? I can get room comped with some freeplay, no food/beverage.
M Life- Pearl. I get a good random offer once a year.

SoCalRob, I guess my favorite players' club must be Identity, because it gets me points and comps at the hotel I most want to stay at! :) It'll be interesting to see how the program "feels" this year, since they just totally revamped it (see this thread (http://jweforum.com/showthread.php?160-Cosmopolitan-Changes-to-Identity-Club) for details).
And as mentioned in the "Before City Center" thread, I don't give Venetian or Palazzo my money because I disagree with the ways that owner Sheldon Adelson spends it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheldon_Adelson#2012). Ideology aside, I just don't think anyone should be allowed to buy political influence on that scale -- and by giving Adelson my $, it helps empower him to do exactly that. It may be a drop in the bucket, but it's my drop.

I definitely have decided when I go I want to get in good with Cosmo. Since that seems to be a very in demand place. Though I'm still not sure how I feel about their casino as I lost a ton there the first time I stepped in. So I'll give it another chance.

Damn hlaburg. Though based on the way points are earned there and the way points are earned with CET. I'd say easier to hit high level Gold there than Diamond at CET. You earn 1 point for every $5 coin in at CET.

What's your friend's band's name? I love Gypsy Bar and always go when I go down for girls' weekends (as opposed to my normally solo gambling trips).
Borgata is a good casino and their "self-comps" of comp dollars and slot dollars are a lot more generous than any other casino I've played at.
