Hey Jokers! I've been receiving Laughlin and Reno/Tahoe junket offers from CET and was curious who have used them. What are the pros and cons? Did you love it or hate it? All opinions and experiences appreciated!

Definitely a con! Luckily you're close to AC.

Tahoe was Great Limo ride from the airport, There were 7 of us in the limo so it's a shared ride, they had some booze in there for us...only downside was commercial Air so may have to pay bag fee's and I had a transfer on the way back..long flight but I will probably go back. Laughlin is fine but you go there so know what it is, it's all very efficient and fine. I prefer to take the AC ones from here short flight, Tunica was nice too when they had them also a short flight. I can't really think of a lot of negatives, sometimes a line to check in though Laughlin goes quick...you may also need to wait for the Bus to fill but it's nothing bad. If you have any specific questions ask away

I've taken 2 Total Rewards junkets. Free air and free rooms. Free drinks on the plane. Bus from airport to hotel. Check in and get keys to preassigned room. Luggage shows up in room. On the way back, they retrieve your luggage from your room, but you have to get it and put in on the bus, then check it in for your flight yourself. Quite a bit of lining up and stuff, but for me it beats a 6 or 7 hour drive through NYC. I think there is a $30 fee and that is the total cost.

My first one was Manchester to Portland to AC on the way down, and AC direct Manchester on the way home. That wasn't bad.

This last one was Boston to Providence to AC on the way down, and had issues and delays. They didn't have time for drink service, so just passed out nips and beers. The return was AC to Boston, and we were delayed an hour. It's a charter airline so a little but Mickey Mouse.

I also get them from MLife to Beau Rivage but haven't done it yet. I have received them for Reno/Tahoe, and sometimes they are free to Reno but not for Tahoe. I don't think I will take on of those, as I have enough trouble on coast to coast flights i book myself!

IF they fit your dates, or you just have time to try it out, I think it's worth it.

My favorite one so far has been to Laughlin. We had an absolute blast. I loved the river taxi, and the slots were loose. So was I after a bucket of beer. LOL I have been to Tunica and Atlantic City on junkets, too. I have loved them all. It is so easy to have everything handled for you! I never even had to deal with my luggage.

The ones that I have been on were free offers from Total Rewards. I am a low roller, and am only platinum, so I have no idea why I got them.

So out of the blue, comes my very first offer from Atlantic City. Don't think I have even been there for five years or more?

From Total Rewards, but only good at Harrahs in AC. $125 FP. $80 F&B, 3 nights free, and FREE Airfare from my local airport. :)

Dept Aug 13 and return Aug 16, but only good for these dates

It's almost like they are paying me to to go there lol. Tempting, we shall see...

Jen i don't know if you seen our trip thread for the Harrahs gulf coast last year in oct . we had everything set up on cet/tr air and they said free everything but there was a charge for some thing came out to like 60.00 or 80.00 dont remember for sure . but when we got to the airport we found out our flight had been cancelled and rescheduled for later that night . we were all ready NOT happy because of the lack of info cet/tr would not supply us about even WHERE to find the plane . so after the air port piss off we decided to go to coushatta instead . as it turned out the later fight we were suppose to go had been rescheduled again till the next day . IF we decide to Ever do that again every thing will need to go very smoothly . Oh and btw we wound up hitting three handy's in LC and Coushatta that time . so it all worked out for the best .

Took the one for M Life 2 the Beau Rivage it was a good time and I went across the street to the Hard Rock and they match the pre-play offer that mlife was giving me.

I would definitely go on one again if the times would work out we get them for Harrah's to Laughlin but they're always weird times and would have to take off too much work

Yeah they call that an "experience fee" or an "administrative fee" and is usually $35 a person and done by a third party travel agency like "Gruenger Travel"

My offer came direct from Total Rewards Air and has NO hidden or extra fees. :)
