OK all you sparkly jokers, I plan to make Diamond this trip as I have less than 2700 TC to go. Couple questions:

1. If I make Diamond during the trip will they waive the resort fees on my comped room?
2. What would you play to grind away and get the points on?
3. Where would you play stay at one CET property until TC are earned or move around?
4. What time of day/night do you seem to have the best luck.
5. Any tips, tricks and advise is appreciated.

Of course, while I hope to make Diamond this trip, I'm not going to blow my BR chasing it if I'm getting no play. I just registered for the June promotion that doubles earned TC in June so if I don't make it in May it will happen in June.

Darlene, I cannot say about the resort fee because we have never been charged one. Even when we were only Gold.

We have always had our best coin-in at PHo. And have also had better wins there. We used to do good at Harrah's, but the last time it seemed like a lot of the old Aristocrats had been removed.

As for time of day, at PHo it seemed our better wins were during the afternoon. And for the game, .25 WOF. It was over near Planet Dailies, but I believe it is called Hollywood Cafe now, it something like that. Twice now we have gotten 2,500 tier credits, which got us the 5,000 bonus, because of the slots being kind to us at PHo.

Sorry I cannot answer all of your questions. Good luck!

Ok i try and help .
1.probably depends on location . but for the most part we have not had to pay resort fees . as you have all ready figured out casinos gotta get to know you the more you put in the more your gonna get out .
1. (a) and get Vern a copy of your card have him play some min bets that will help rack up some points . i was told by some one that if you get over two thousand points in a day its petty much a guaranteed diamond status .
2.any thing that makes you feel good about it (old Aristo's are usually a safe bet thou ill play anything that looks my way lol) . try to stay away from progressives unless you intend to play max bet .
3. dont think it maters . all ways ask the tr desk about player kiosks some times you can get multipliers for your points on certain days .
4.kinda depends on when your going . some time mornings are good other times nights into early morning works well .
5. my only tip is play as hard as you can afford when the casino starts to clear out for the day . some times you can hit some monsters if you catch the right machine .

I'll do my best to help here-

So once you make diamond, they will give you your new card right away at the TR desk. It may take a little time to update you in the system, but you'll have your card. When you check out you will have to show them you made it to get them waived since it won't automatically do it most likely being your reservation wasn't coded as Diamond. The nice thing is you can check out in the VIP area where the employees are more experienced than the regular desk, and if you have an issue there are hosts sitting in the room to help too.

I had a few games at PH that were excellent for cycling coin. Outback Jack of course was playing well most of the time, I found I could put in $40 and max bet and I could earn a ton of points and make a profit. The dollar reels were good to me at PH as well, maybe I was lucky but they would all either win or at least keep hitting.

There was a five line double diamond quarter reel game in the middle near the table games that was excellent for getting points. I could put in $20 and play it forever and end up with 30 tier points before it was gone. Like Zeus said too the 25 cent WOF, five line machines near the restaurant were like that too. I usually don't do well on WOF but those seem to win a lot over there. If you are really wanting points, the five line dollar games in the back area outside of HL were even better for points. I put a $100 into a Triple lucky 7's game back there and it just kept giving me $5-$10 line hits constantly and I cashed out ahead $60 and earned over 100 tier points in 15 minutes. Of course maybe I was lucky but this all just worked for me.

I would avoid many of the newer penny games, often those didn't give me much play. I did find though at PH if you can change up your denomination the games seem to have a higher payback. there is a Cleo II there, on the end near Yolo's that when I play it on nickles it always bonuses frequently for me, even on just a $1 bet. Cleo II is a tough game for me but that one never fails me.

If you go over to Bally's they have the dollar reels in the HL room that give 2x tier credits still. They didn't play well for me at all this past trip though. I found though that the games at Bally's to be good in general for getting in a lot of play. Just make sure you track down how many points you get at the other CET casinos each day. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss getting 1000 tier points per day for the bonus by a few points etc, so I made notes in my phone. When you put in your card at PH it will only show how many points you got at PH, etc, not all properties. Also at Paris there are some five line 25 cent Bonus Times games near the TR desk. Those were also great for coin in and I won on both of them (they are the 2x4x10x ones).

I don't think the time of day really matters, never does for me. It's more like some days are just bad in general all day for me and some are good. I do now think though when I first get to a casino on a trip, I just get excited and want to play so I seem to lose more. After a couple of days I seem to get a feel for what plays well and what to avoid so I tend to do better, but that's just me.

good luck!

OK all you sparkly jokers, I plan to make Diamond this trip as I have less than 2700 TC to go. Couple questions:

1. If I make Diamond during the trip will they waive the resort fees on my comped room? Not sure but think they would
2. What would you play to grind away and get the points on? I like the Wonder 4 Games not the Jackpot ones..Playing 4 seems to give you some diversity and you can always play the cheaper games like Pompeii to save a little coin KDK's suggestion is good too about Balleys High limit slots that say 2X rewards but also give 2X tier they have a Wild Cherry if you can get on it thats' good for points
3. Where would you play stay at one CET property until TC are earned or move around? No but you need to keep track of your points as they do not show the daily total just the property Total
4. What time of day/night do you seem to have the best luck. From me early afternoon and last at night but really do not think it matters
5. Any tips, tricks and advise is appreciated. I agree with Zeus I seem to have good Luck at Planet Hollywood and Flamingo (Though I do not care for the Casino)
Good Luck...Hope you make it easy

I agree with all the above. I get most of my points outside of Vegas, but for sure you can churn points faster on $1 machines rather than pennies. I usually find one where I can stay about even (like my fave at Horseshoe) and put in $100 and play as long as I can. The dollar machines just always do better for me as far as points, and the payback is better (supposedly).

Have a great trip and best luck! I’ll be watching for lots of pics!
