Wait, I didn't use that many reward credits!

Hi Jokers!

Make sure you all keep track of your reward credits and when you use them. After my recent Vegas trip I returned home to find out that I have 7,400 reward credits go missing. I know for a fact that I only used 1,300 RC. I emailed CET and got a reply this morning stating that 8,000 RC was used at Harrah's Ak-Chin on 8/21/18. What! How could that be when I was still in Vegas heading home? I just emailed my DL and they're going to verify the signature. Hopefully, the next time I check my TR account the 8,000 RC will reappear. I consider RC's like cash since I did earn it with my cash...HHH! I just wanted to share my experience with you all.

That sucks Jen. Hope they found out what happened and refund them back to you. I read on the VMB site someone else had that problem but not sure what the outcome was.

Man, that blows, Jen. As long as it takes to earn that many RCs, you can't afford to lose them like that. Fingers crossed they get it straightened out.

8/21 you had been staying at Harrahs in Vegas? You were in Phoenix Ak Chin in March, March 10 was when we went to spring training ballgame.
Could be some one got your card and waited to use it.
I think you will get your rc back after CET has time to investigate. I got mine back when it happened once years ago

I go in my account and check the rc. There is a listing of all rc earned and used for each month. The past month won’t show until so many days have passed in the new month. Might be 7. Then can see if some thing looks wrong.

I try my best to not lose my cards and that could happen after a couple drinks. You would think they would need to show ID to make purchases.

Ak Chin got better at checking ids but I know agaves and the Range still don’t on occasion. My card got used in the gift shop at Ak Chin. It was 15-18years ago. It was for a lot someone bought a doll, then they returned the same day And bought another doll and a carton of cigarettes. So far that’s the only time I know of.
They wouldn’t tell me much about how it happened and they froze my card. I had to have someone call before I could use it for months.

Thanks for the heads up, Jen. We usually try to keep close tabs on our reward credits from all casinos, and I usually take screen shots of my reward credits, tier points, etc. with my cell phone before I leave to go to a casino so that I know what I started with and we keep all of the receipts where we used reward credits for a later comparison. Also, before I go to bed in a casino, I take a picture of what I end up with that day so it is easier to keep tabs. It sound like you keep a watch on your credits as well so it really stinks that his happened. Hope they get it straightened out for you. I agree with you, they are like cash! You work hard enough for them!

Didn't I read in some posts on Jokers or elsewhere about a year ago where it was an inside job by casino employees stealing peoples' fp and rc? Might be a possibility if you have not shared your password and/or card.

I haven't been to a casino since Vegas last April. I came out of there with only $1.10 in RCs. Was too drunk to know if anybody stole them all or if I actually used them all lol.

All I know is I checked today and it still says only $1.10 so I guess I won't be eating too fancy in Council Bluffs next weekend hhh

Jen that’s great and nice they returned your reward credits right away.
A person doesn’t need your PIN number there to use your rc. Just need an employee not to ask for an ID.
