Trying to figure out the highest paying herd on a non bonus game, non-Nevada game. Say a max bet of 2.00, it is 2400.00? What is the combo as in, 3x2x3x3.
What about Nevada Buffalo? And why does Nevada pay different?
What are all the different combos of a herd?

In vegas in base game the most is 1x 2x 2x 3x 3x. So 36x . On $2 bet can get $540.
But during the bonus if you get 3 wilds , it cN be 1x 3x 3x 3x 3x. 81x. $2 bet would get $1215.

You're close, it's 1x2x2x2x3 for NV.

It's funny trying to explain to people the difference. Toc and I we're in SoCal last Friday and they had both non NV and NV there. Toc was playing Aztec Dream(?) (WWII clone) and some guy's wife was playing buffalo next to Toc. We started chatting and eventually he started debating me on whether there were two different versions. Toc was just laughing...
All that being said, the volatility is different between the two but the payback% can be exactly the same. I did better playing the NV buffalo in SoCal.

One more thing, on most of the non NV games I've played, if you drop down to playing only 3 reels, the machine will convert to NV 1x2x2x2x3. The symbols on the reels change to keep the payback% on track.
I always thought reel 4 could get 3 buffalos on the NV version, but I have no proof of it. I don't mind that version though since it seems to let my money last a little longer. I guess I'll have to try it and find out....
If I'm not mistaken Buffalo Gold is the NV version everywhere. Of course the bonus changes it up, but the base game is 1x2x2x2x3 for max buffalo?

The real benefit I see from NV is two buffalo pays 1.25x bet and three buffalo pays 5x. I think that's the main reason money last longer.
I haven't played Max yet, but the video I saw seems like it's regular NV buffalo just renamed with a touch more volatility.

On the one's I played, you can still get 3 buffalo per reel if playing four reels on non NV.

i have played Max quite a bit. You are correct, everything I see is the same as NV Buffalo, at least in the base game. The bonus says it gives more wilds, although my results haven't shown that yet.
